Thank you so much for this very thorough review of the Brutfuner pencils in this book. I just purchased the Arrtx 126 set and it came without a swatch sheet or any paperwork at all. I will do a search to see if you have a review of this set, and how you think they will work in this Small Victories book that I need to purchase. If you have a video listing various books and pencil sets that are affordable that work the best in each of them, I would very much like to see it. Many of your wonderful tutorials that I would like to color with were done in publications that used to have some tooth but are now being published on very smooth paper which will not allow me to follow all the layering and shadowing techniques that you are teaching us.
Thank you, I am subscribed to your channel, with the bell ticked, but I never get reminders. Its a good job I seek you out every few days, otherwise I would miss so much! !!
So pretty. I just wish more people would use Kalour pencils. I have such a terrible time finding videos to help me pick out color combos and see how others use them in general.
I was gifted this set of pencils for Christmas and I love the variety of colors. But I am having a hard time with sharpening them. What kind of pencil sharpener do you use for yours?
Afmat & a knife lol 😅 Ill have to try the dahlee because the afmat jst chewssss the pencil up so fast you dont notice 😢 but thats maybe bc i dont have the hang of it yet.
I want to buy a set of the cheap ones, but I have doubts between Brutfuner SQ or Kalour, but they don't have open stock, I have the set of 120 Polychromos and I love them but I find the range of colors very unbalanced, many grays, browns, and very few purples, and I love the purple one, I will buy some of from Prismacolor to complete my Polychromos now that I've found an online store that sells them in my country, Spain, where they don't exist and on Amazon the sets are very expensive, I've saw your videos about pastel tones and I want the Holbein, even if I buy them one by one, but for now I think I am going to buy the green box of Kalour Macaron because I want those softer but at the same time intense and beautiful colors and in the end I think it's the same manufacturer for different brands Brutfuner, Kalour, Castle Art... I am also looking forward to that book by Johanna Basford, although now I am obsessed with color by number books by George Toufexis from Creative Haven. Thank you for your videos, they are soooo helpful.
Paaamela thank you so much for this video, I have these.pencils but I think I don't know how to use them correctly because I can't make a good layering work :/ do you have the Faber Castell super Soft?
@@PamelasPassionforPencils I If one day you get to acquire them, I would totally love to see the video 🥺 I love your content I discovered it recently and it is super useful, I am from Mexico and there are no channels like yours in Spanish for that reason I am very grateful to you, hugs and greetings from here ❤
Thank you for sharing. As usual, your tutorials are always easy to follow. ❤

When doing the small items in my books I put initials of the pencils I use.
