- In this video I show my small (in comparison to other collections) R.J. Hampson coloring book collection. I also show how well my Kalour Pencils work in them (Amazon paper).

Using my Kalour 300 Pencils Set
NOTE: This set contains the 'colored' barrels. I have noticed that there is a difference between the colored barrels and the black barrels in the Kalour line. Hope that helps.

I will be watching your video a few minutes at a time. I just bought a 180 Kalour pencil set. It is the first time I have used so many colored pencils. A lot of the pictures you showed remind me of pictures from the book Wind in the Willows.

Thank you for the video Bianca, I really enjoyed it, I have a 24 set of Inktense and they are just too intimidating for me I’ve never really used them I enjoy the Sargentart watercolor crayons that you introduced me to on one of your videos with a very good demo from you, I can get the look I want from them, which makes my coloring much more enjoyable. I like my Kalour pencils in RJ's books too. But I have the 240 set and it's really lacking in browns, especially darker browns. I usually have to add in some Polychromos or similar to get the browns I need. They are very nice pencils and I think the metallic colours are the nicest metallic pencils I have.

There are two kinds of Kalour sets to look out for. The black barrels and the colorful barrels. I recommend the solid/colorful barrels over the black barrels. They are softer than the black barrels.

The pencils are pronounced Calore spelled Kalour.
Thanks; I know how they are pronounced. I just like my way better.
