Good score on the Home entertainment center. They are overlooked. In 1992 I paid $3000 for a solid oak home entertainment center. I wasn’t going to give it up!The two side pieces had doors with glass for display, the middle piece had receding doors but unfortunately only held a 27 inch TV. So when flat screens came in I moved the units into my craft room. the two side pieces i used for storage, in the center I installed pegboard backing for hanging scissors, patterns and cutting board etc, I installed an electric outlet, a light, and I attached a drop-down sewing table with a piano hinge. When I wanted to craft I open the doors, drop the table down, pulled my sewing machine out, sewed to my heart’s content and then shoved it all back in and closed the doors. It was still beautiful and hid all of my mess!
Oh my, what a great repurposing idea! They are so such beautiful pieces and, like yours, usually expensive and well built cabinetry. I keep seeing them for sale on Marketplace and I wish I could buy them all and reuse them all over the house. I just might... Lol. I have ideas! I love your sewing cabinet idea. I love the things that you purchased and the direction that you're headed with your decor in your home. because it's not the same old thing you see on these other channels constantly the same vase or the same flower arrangement I'm so over that . We are beyond blessed and humbled that my husband was able to get his transplant and other surgery. It was a true miracle. I am hoping to post weekly. I love the things that you purchased and the direction that you're headed with your decor in your home. because it's not the same old thing you see on these other channels constantly the same vase or the same flower arrangement I'm so over that . Your haul items are gorgeous and I love each and every one of them. You did some major scores on these things......just beautiful. The Curtin panels and the oriental vase is absolutely gorgeous. I also mix those into my everyday spaces. I have a couple my husband brought home from Viet Nam and I absolutely have had them out and in use since 1971. Absolutely love them and have a story and remember those days as well.
