- Hello RUclips Friends! Welcome to or welcome back to my channel! In today's video I am sharing some fun vintage finds from my recent shopping adventures. I am also sharing a sneak peek of the Faux Brick Wall I have installed by using the brick panels from Home Depot and putting my own touch on them to make them look as real as I can. This is my first time doing this and I have learned SO much. I will be sharing a full reveal and tutorial in the future. I would love to know what you think! Also, please let me know which items was your favorite from my shopping haul.

Poor Maxine! I had a kitty who hated thunderstorms. He would belly crawl through the house before the storm got here so he could hide in the basement.
You find the best stuff. I love all of your haul. My two favorites are the bird nest wreath and the tole tray. Great finds.
I am happy to hear that you plan on painting the blue insert in your vase/wall hanging. Since you asked for input, I would paint the insert either cream or mocha. The filigree could be any metal color or black and it would look great.
Your brick wall looks terrific. I imagine it has been a lot of work. It will be worth all that work and I know you will have a sense of satisfaction when it's done

I am always blown away by the items you find at your thrift shops. I never find anything remotely as wonderful . I have found a few treasures over the years, but they are far and few between. But I love seeing what you do with your imagination. And the brick wall is amazing. You really impress me with your ability to put in the hard work to make your vision a reality.

Holy Cow! That brick wall is amazing!!! The talent and patience you have . You are an artist when it comes to painting techniques. You’re one of my favorite channels. That planter wall sconce ..I thought it would be nice hung next to a door to put umbrellas in when you walk in.

Thank you Cheryl! I actually messed it up and had to try to fix it. Sometimes I cross the "Leave well enough alone" line and that turns into a OOPS mess that I have to fix. 😆🎨 I plan to share the good and bad in the tutorial video. Have a wonderful weekend! Xoxoxo

Wow! You found some amazing things! Great buy on the topiaries. Preserved boxwood is expensive. I love the colors in the pillow. What a great idea to dedicate a room to family members who served in the military! I've had several family members who served, and I got a little choked up when you talked about your plans. I love watching your channel because of the shared decor style and using vintage pieces. It's truly exciting when I get to go thrifting or antiquing, on the for the hunt of whatever I might find and then my imagination kicks in. Ooooooh one more thing, those wrought-iron baskets, I can totally see pumpkins and gourds in them in a fall vignette. Super cute.
Great haul. Love the mirror and the rocking horse. Maxine will love the basket. The faux brick looks fab. The texture makes it look very realistic. Also, the fact that you can see brick outside adds to the illusion. TFS😍
As usual...your finds are wonderful and so is your decorating but I really came here to be honest and say, I laughed out loud when the thunder scared the s*@t out of you (literally) LOL I may have watched it a couple of times!!! 🤣
Deborah... I love collecting those Chafing Dishes of all sorts of sizes and shapes. A couple of the ones that I have that are similar to the shape that you have in this Haul, I ended up putting wood rounds on the top of them to make risers and they turned out so stunning 😍 I love the ornate detail to them. The basic square and rectangular ones that do not have the holder underneath to keep it warm, but are still ornate (I think are actually just serving dishes but resemble the one you have) I cut a thick wood slice and put it right down inside it to make trays and the circular ones that do not have the holder underneath to keep it warm (so again, just a server) I cut a slice of wood the the hight of it and hang the dish on the wall and make a little shelf out of them. I love experimenting with these kinds of dishes 😁❣️

When I commented on the two items you showed in your haul that I had one like yours and one similiar to yours, I hadn't finished watching the video. After finishing it, I wanted to let you know, you're doing a fantastic job creating the look of your house brick in your kitchen, can hardly wait to see the end project. As far as my favorite thrifted item, that's going to be hard, I have a thing for candlesticks, pick them up whenever I get to thrift. Absolutely, LOVE the wreath with the bird nest, the oval mirror, scrolled metal baskets, basket/box, metal sconce w/blue insert, and the wall black metal planter, that I have identical to yours. I think the faux brick wall is amazing! And, to my surprise I also really liked the Syroco round wall plaques! So not my style but so yours!!! Whenever you show us a thrift find I think to myself "I wonder how she will change that and make it look even better?!" Always enjoy your videos, Deborah!

Here's an idea for the cone shaped, wall pocket - paint the outside black. Then hot glue moss sheets to the inner pocket for a natural French design. That way if you want to change it and paint it a different color later it will be easy to remove the glued-on moss.
Love the tole tray! And I was picturing making ceiling lights with the black wire baskets by drilling a hole in the bottom for the socket. Because they are small I would use them at the top of an open cabinet or small room like a closet. The light filtering through the wire would be really pretty.
As always, great finds and the brick wall looks perfect, such a good match to your outer brick!
Hi Amy! I love the way you think! The moss is a great idea! And the wire baskets would be cute as lights. 🧡 I used one as another bird feeder by adding a glass globe from a ceiling fan light inside. I put a piece of scrubber sponge in the holes to allow water to drain, but keep the seed inside. I shared a photo on IG. So glad you liked the brick! I hope to have more videos up soon! Xoxoxo

Awesome haul 🤩👍🏻 Absolutely love the black flowered bowl 💕 It looks Chinese and I’d love to have it in my bedroom where I have French country with Chinese accents. That’s quite a storm going on. I’m in Tucson and always praying that the monsoon rains hit us. It seems to just jump over us and hit all around us. We did have thunder and a tiny bit of rain today. The wall looks fabulous 🤩👍🏻

Yes I would say it looks fairly real! My goodness it is something else. Lots of pretties, interested to see how you upcycle the chafing dishes. I know it will be oh so fabulous. Poor Maxine but she is a tough kitty. I remember when you told about her missing for awhile, Have a happy fourth.

My little dog is like Maxine when it comes to weather - I can’t even enjoy a nap in a good thunderstorm because he is so scared & shaking like a leaf - always afraid he’s gonna have a heart attack ! That was pretty scary lightning- one of our big oaks in the back of our property must have had a lightning strike down into he ground -:there are no scorch marks but it just started dying last winter - sad because when you lose one of the big ones, you know you’ll never have another like that - probably close to 100 years old - anyway, great haul - I especially love the 2 metal bowls - really liking your brick wall - I always wanted to do one of those - watched a bunch of videos - but have never seemed to have found the time & energy for it ! Looking forward to seeing how you did yours !
