Ken buy the storage bag from Rottweiler that will block the opening in the front, but also will be a great place for your wallet and keys,etc- it fits in that open space infront of the air filter

To fit the Power Commander under the ECU , you have to cut off 1/4 in of aluminum under where the ECU fits , its the slider piece that bolts in under the rubber that the ECU slides into. 1/4 in cut of on the end of it, then the PC5 slides down in hole

Sure thing, its been cold/raining here lately so couldn't get to my usual stomping grounds...off the bat from riding around the street, throttle feels smooth and the bike seems to rev up easier...also with the restrictive airbox removed you get access to the engine so much easier for services and such....it really just simplifies the bike...for me removing the SAS assembly and EVAP canister also help clean up unnecessary stuff off the bike.
I have wings exhaust w baffle, stock air box and power commander 5 mapped by Rottweiler. I just installed the sas/canister removal and it sounds like it’s a lot louder and running different is that normal. Or do I need to re tune?
So what do we do with the SAS hose that runs to the stock air box if we aren’t doing the SAS removal??? There’s only one hole for a hose on the Rott air intake plate....

Hello have you experienced any stalling with yours?Mine an 18 model sometimes when i approach a red light and downshift the engine suddenly switches off even tho i'm pulling the clutch lever all the way in...
I just got it installed 2 days ago...initially, throttle response is smoother and quicker but will need more seat time to really know. looking at the oem airbox, I would say this is a better design almost like a RAM intake.
It sounds lower, that's good. I wish i had installed handguards on mine, i already snap the tip of my brake lever, the one that comes with mine didn't even had the metal thing yours had, is just a floating thing
Hey man I just installed pcv yesterday and it was fuckin awesome. Today however I received engine orange light and tps thing does a super weird noise... When I turn on the key... Do you have any experience on this? I double checked all the connections and it's all right and according to the manual... I'm lost here...
just added power commander 5 on my 701 with wings exhaust louder baffle in! OMG its so smooth and more responsive!!

I made it fit without cutting.

The tool to get into that compartment is clipped under your seat. If it's not there, take the one out of the tool kit and clip it in there.

it was mainly the heavy muffler..all else are minor. (airbox etc)
I was hoping you were gonna wring that thing out a lil bit towards the end so we could really hear the new muffler...
Hell yes- There is 25% torque and HP bottled up because of Euro-4, Call Chris a Rottweiler Performance to get the most out of your 701

no the SAS block off plates is a separate thing altogether. it is not needed, it is just a preference.

J. Esau Romano yes same with my sister's enduro...which is silly given that it is an enduro model...her levers are snapped or bent.
If the handguards they made were complete as you have now but with the 701 engraving they would rock the shit out of any aftermarket handguards

You can, but it will cause a power drop without a tune. Its also way too loud. Sounds great with the wider baffle in.

Did you find a fix for the check enigine light? Just installed the pcv and it came on.
