    Great video. Kindly clarify if discrete data type can be considered for Regression because no of hold is discrete

      In simple linear regression it is not considered but when we are testing multiple variables then it can be considered

    Thank you Sir.
    Does VIF value has to be 1 by default and any predictor showing values >1 indicates multi-collinearity?
    Another point, can I use p values under the Analysis of Variance section to select the predictors that a significantly contributing to the model? E.g. predictors with p-values less than 0.05 will be selected because they are statistically significant.

    Sorry for asking this question :
    Null hypothesis: there is a statistically signification relationship between the variables.
    Alternate hypothesis: there is no statistically significant relationship between the variables.
    P value is less than alpha. So we reject the null hypothesis .....right ?
    We seem to be doing something different here ....please clarify

      Your null and alternate hypotheses are not right. Null Hypothesis will be No relationship

    have a basic doubt. I had learnt in some training sessions that regression is done only when both dependent & independent variables are ' Continuous" data. I see you have also taken discreet data for regression analysis... Pls clarify..Thanks
