The fact that this song was first sung by a random chubby bearded ginger British chap as part of a bit he had in a Minecraft Let's Play series is hilarious. I was just a kid when I first watched that, and then years later Windrose came out with this BANGER. It hit me right in the childhood.
Last winter after the snow thrower died, I had this bloody song stuck in my head the whole time I was shoveling out my driveway...
@@delord1619 *I am a dwarf and I'm diggin' da snow...*
Let's not forget the original Yogscast version, which Wind Rose covered. :)
Far continuance of shenanigans, all ye who's see this and saw windrose's other version of diggy Diggy hole... Any got the balls to comment here?
@@LPyxel da snow digging be orky alongside da snow throwa.
FOR ROCK AND STONE! Created by the Minecraft community and adopted by the Deep Rock Galactic community and then pretty much became the anthem for all Dwarven gamers everywhere. :D
Rock and stone Brothers!
FOR ROCK AND STONE!!!
ROCK AND F*CKING STONE!
ROCK AND STONE!!!!!!!!!!
\m/_^.^_\m/
Did I hear a rock qnd stone?
Yogscast Definitely never had any clue what their offhanded conversation would inspire haha
Most people never have any idea.
The original yogcast song is also a bop. The music video is fun, and the video where they show how they recorded it is hilarious as well
I concur, both videos are awesome 🥰
Simon from Yogscast 👍😁
You have to look up the whole story about the "Diggy Diggy Hole" phenomenon.
But you might like their song "Drunken Dwarves".
They also have one about the Lord of the Rings called "There and Back Again"
And Wind Rose is Dwarf Metal.
They got a lot about LotR and at least one about Warhammer, sadly they don't have one about Deep Rock Galactic yet. :(
@@feuerklinge9004 ROCK AND STONE
@@feuerklinge9004Maybe if they do a sci-fi themed album.
They have a few about LOTR including one long one about the Battle of Five Armies.
One could even call the genre "Heavy Mithril."
This fine Viking Raider gentleman just realized about one third of his bloodline consists of mainly Dwarf DNA.
4:01 WHADDID I PAUSE ON DUDE
Dwarves did originally come from Norse mythology.
The original Diggy Diggy Hole, the remake, and this cover are all just amazing
And then there is also Wind Rose's dance remix version ^^
@@galadballcrusher8182 4:01 BRO WHAT DID I PAUSE ON
All the boys from Windrose are from Italy and thier style is based on LOTR. This song Diggy Diggy Hole was a song originally sung by The Yogscast and inspired by the famous videogame Minecraft. I love these Dwarves of Metal...they are jut epic.
windrose's lyrics is more typical fantasy power metal lyrics but heavily based on tolkiens hobbit and lotr series, this song is one of their few outliers being a cover of a yogscast song that came from a minecraft clip, the costumes they wear in this video is the same outfits they perform in live to my knowledge
I can't think of a better description for this kind of music other than "Heavy Mithril". And the world needs *more of it.* Raise a glass for good tunes! 🍺
Also, I love the "Yes!" when it kicks in for the first time. The guitar busts down the door, surprise, and then the kind of "Yes!" that just says "I am here for everything about this".
This is now on my playlist when im playing a survival game with digging mechanics.
An interesting thing about the song. The evolution of it makes it start to sound like something a work crew would sing to keep time and entertained. Those kinds of songs, despite being simple are some serious ear worms.
4:03 Bro paused at the right time XDDD
5:06 not sure if anyone has said so, but this is purely a minecraft so, no, thats not a joke either, it stems from a joke from a minecraft smp survival series by at this point the heavily mentioned yogscast, specifically simon who at the time used a dwarf skin and i think still uses that very same skin to this day, this whole song is my childhood and good times crammed into one
Wind Rose is an absolute trip, love their songs and I hope you check out more of their stuff
Wind Rose is definitely Dwarf Metal.
The outfit is sick, I wish that was just the standard fashion because it looks 100% more awesome than the poor taste today.
Rock and Stone baby!!! I love this song
Did I hear a ROCK AND STONE?!
rock and Stone
There is also a slightly different version by the channel "Clamavi De Profundis" which is also pretty darn awesome
Wait, they also did a cover of this song???
@@kuradkuruta0404 Yes they did - for April 1st. And I find it quite hilarious.
what I love most about the music video is seeing the drummer going ham during the solo and quite clearly having the time of his life xD
l love how catchy this song is
It is right?! I couldn’t stop myself joining in during editing :p
This song is a total earworm, but it's so good it's not a problem.
Loved this reaction and your channel! Your channel introduced me into so many amazing bands! Thank you sir 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
Something I've always wondered is what music was like for the vikings during the Norse eras. We have no surviving records of what types of music they would have had, makes me wonder cause today heavy metal is more common in Scandinavia than anywhere else in the world. They have the most metal bands.
Sneaky "dwarfs won't fly so high" reference to the moonquest song 😜
After this song they made an album Warfront, which has no reason to be this awesome. It's not following this Diggy-diggy-hole 'comedy' style, but they doubled down on epicness.
I can highly recommend 'Gates of Ekrund and 'Together we Rise'. edit: and 'Army of Stone'
BTW they're headlining a tour in Europe in fall and already have sold out shows.
BBTW they're touring with All for Metal, which you should totally check out as well!!
Discovered this fairly recently. Love it. Not often you come across a song that is both epic and funny.
My first time here and instanly bonus points for the greeting with the horn and amazing background. Looks amazing. 🤘
love it, good to see you enjoy Wind Rose, but they made a different one too. Wind Rose - Diggy Diggy hole (Dance Remix) realy realy worth giving a go too!
Thank you for this straightforward and non over the top reaction video! Your reactions are genuine and authentic!
Napalm records has all the funny/goofy bands^^ I love them for that.
It´s a extreamly epic song about...well,digging a hole. And I love it 🤘
Guys favorite activity on the beach.. "Diggy diggy hole" ..and thats the only 3 words that go through our mind during that activity.
6:25 the better question is not, if they have been digging holes, it is: how many holes have they been digging?
Drunken Dwarves
They have some more serious songs too, like "Wintersaga," "Army of Stone," "Fellows of the Hammer," and "Returning Race." But they also just released a video based on Deep Rock Galactic called "Rock and Stone."
Got to love that Cristiano has a Dane Axe while the rest have digging tools. Got to keep an eye out for those Greenskins.
I love this! I saw the song being performed at a rock festival recently, on television, and some of the audience doing a digging sort of dance, in unision. It was quite a sight! I came across this version being reacted to by Elizabeth of the Charistmatic Voice so had to go find it for myself. It's so much fun. Great reaction. :) It's a long way from Disney's seven dwarves isn't it?
I know this song first from a minecraft animated video with the same name. After that i found this song on spotify
Origin of this song is minecraft meme song turned awesome.
A good chaser to this song (other than the original 2 versions) would be “Man With A Plan” by Korplikaani. However, what i REALLY recommend is pairing it with “it just works” by The Chalk Eaters, for some reason these three songs combo together Hard
That is funny. I just searched this song this morning😂 I love the song🤟🏻
This is a cover, but it is so much their own style that they might aswell have written it themselves. Please dive deeper into Wind Rose! They are so freaking awesome! :D
I would LOVE to see these guys perform this with Sabaton. cheers
4:31 that freeze frame
I just love the contrast between how epic this sounds and how silly the lyrics are. 😂
What's silly about the lyrics?
@@AIHumanEquality He doesn't understand where chorus came from originally.
Basically he is closeminded methulhead.
this song is based on a 10 years old music video (with an amazing animation) wich is itself based on a joke made by a Minecraft youtuber during a let's play so that's really funny
I just realized something about Norse mythology: the sons of Ivaldi and the Huldra Brothers (Brok and Sindri) aren’t just Dwarven blacksmiths, all of them are professional artificers
Damn Minecraft song goes HARD...
Wind Rosa is shit metal.
Just found you tonight, but if you haven't checked it out already, you should do a react to Wind Rose's Together We Rise!. That song hypes me up so much I'm ready to take on a hordecof orcs!
You may also really like either of these songs called "Mine Mine Mine" or "Together We Rise" by them. A couple of my favorites! Loved your reaction. Subbed.
What are vikings but dwarves of the sea? We are all brothers here 🤝
"Dwarves of the Sea." You meal like FANNYBAWS! HE'S A FEARSOME PIRATE! FANNYBAWS! HE'S THE SCOURGE OF THE SEA!
Bro I just subbed to you and I'm glad I did! You mentioned that you done metal work and forging it and when you showed the pic's my eyes widen and my left eye started twitching! Also when you'r eye twitches is the eye lens supposed to twitch as well lmao I'm sure it's fine 😂
Awesome, thank you! And is synchronized twitching a thing? ;)
@@VikingReacts No idea since I don't use that! Not to mention using Pay apps is scam and I agree with you staying away from some social media things! Causes mental anxiety and other issues to not speak of!
their outfits and weapons give me a great vibe of Warhammer (the mediaval version of 40k) i Had a Dwarven army
4:16 perfect pause
Would fit perfectly in som rts game with dwarf as a faction
Unexpected Yogscast
They have an other version of this song, maybe check it out too :D
And also their older stuff please, very Tolkien inspired!
did u watch the one with 6 party's of metal and the original song thats banging too ^^ its called Diggy Diggy Hole Ultimate Combo
It's a great cover. Tis a shame the Original is often overlooked or forgotten.
I like the part where they song about digging a hole
I think I missed that part…
This isn't heavy metal... this is heavy mithril 😁
"YES!!!!!!!" 💪
"Yes!"
yes.
yes.
"Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!" - "Axes of the Dwarves! The Dwarves are upon you!"
Rock and Stone!
Do check out their "To Erebor" more more dwarf metal goodness! :D
I'm surprised you haven't seen this before. These appear to be your brothers 😁
They are clearly just as handsome indeed ;)
all the way from mistril city 🤣
I mean; I realise this video is a year old (as of writing), AND I have no idea what you've listened/reacted to before (this is the first vid I watch); but I hope you've stuck to/with Napalm Records. They truly FO sign some of the greatest, most awesome bands; AND their music videos more often than not F-ing SLAPS!
Whenever I see that logo… I know 2 things. I: copyright claim 2: EPIC music! I don’t care about copyright issues and I love to react to the bands they sign. I need to look into more of them for sure!
Maybe you will also like the song "Drunken Dwarves" of WindRose 😅
I read somewhere that they're forging a shovel. Perfect for digging a hole.
You can hear the anvil in the song? Damn your ears must be good. I can't hear it.
you should react to
Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq's: I've No More F***s To Give!
My fucks have runeth dry… I think I know it ;)
you sould check out where it came from you will be surprised
it's a nice song, but it's also very deep
how do i get this playlist?
They actually do love lord of the rings series.
I would love to see a reactions to Falling in Reverse - Last Resort (Reimagined)
Its an awesome new take on Papa Roaches Last Resort!
Is this the theme song for the new Snow White movie ?
😋
Oh, yet another closeminded methulhead who doesn't have any clue.
Please check out Bloodywood, a Punjabi folk metal band from New Delhi.
That sounds too funny to not check out :)
I recommend making a reaction to one of the coolest female vocalists in the world.
Diana Ankudinova - Queen of Goosebumps - Diana received such a title for her extraordinary unique voice.
Diana's best performances - Derniere Danse, Wicked Game, Can't Help Falling in Love, California Dreamin', Sweet Dreams, Human
Each of these speeches garnered over a thousand reactions.
Diana is in the TOP 3 world vocalists in terms of the number of reactions (about 17 thousand reactions).
The coolest performance that will shock you and give you the biggest goosebumps!
