  • Follow a day in the life of a person with life-threatening food allergies. Witness the relentless decisions and questions that arise, from school and playdates to eating at restaurants, and the unending vigilance in navigating life to keep safe and prevent an allergic reaction. These choices aim to avoid a trip to the emergency room. They aim to prevent anaphylaxis, which could lead to death.
This is how 33 million Americans live every day.

Thanks for this. I was told this weekend, “ooh, don’t eat too much, might get fat” when I simply said no thank you to three items being served at my uncle’s funeral meal. I just smiled and walked away. Why do I get shamed for deciding what I can and cannot eat?

Thank you so much for making this film and doing all the amazing work you guys do! The FA perspective was so well articulated, far better than I’ve ever been able to explain. I’ve been harshly criticized for protecting myself and my 3yo son from reactions, been told everything said at 3min and much worse - even by “doctors” 🙄 I’m terrified for when my son gets old enough to start school. Your recent seminar about the ada protections is fantastic and will be my lifeline and guide, also saved the presenting attorney’s info just incase she might be needed. I’ve been a supporter for about a decade now, it’s amazing to watch how much your group has achieved on a world wide level and you go practically unrecognized for it. I recognize and appreciate your efforts and I’m eternally grateful! Thank you!!

I have asthma as well as 11 food allergies and today I learned that the Advair that I’ve taken for years to control my asthma has milk powder in it. 😮 My pulmonary doctor switched me to a new medication because I’m allergic to dairy.

It’s so important for us to educate people on the devastating outcomes of food allergies and help take away the myths that food allergies are simply a few bumps and sneezing. Please anyone who sees this video share it.

Thank you for raising awareness about food allergies, that’s fantastic!
The video would be better if it had been done with a professional voice over artist.
The person we hear talking through the video sounds like she has a stuffy nose and a bit of an accent so it’s hard to understand every word. Also, her tone is a bit flat.
The video is slow and way too long for most people especially for those who don’t have any food allergies and little interest in the allergy world in general.
It’s a good start though, and I will share it with my entourage.
