He's my favorite part of the series. My girlfriend and I are playing through man of medan and she got all upset after she got a guy killed.

I like that they design these games where you can jump in on any adventure. Still, for those who have at least one game under their belt, it is a little sad to see Mr. Curator does not recognize us.

Well that's disappointing. I've been playing on PS5 whereas I did Man of Medan on XBox. I was so hoping he'd acknowledge your previous meeting if you have a save file on the same system.

I played man of medan before and to me he said "welcome back, today i have annother story to tell you". Also at the end he doesnt say "maybe well meet each other again. maybe at the pacific or arabia (i think)". instead he leaves out the "pacific" part as i have already played it

My main issue is the fact that every monster is just in their heads. Whether by a hallucinogenic drug or mental trauma, it's never real.
@@kingcamelot1395 I really liked that plot twist, completely blew my mind in Little Hope(yea it makes the game a little less replayable but I think it's worth it), and it made me think days about the whole story. Oh and saying it's never real, they made 2 Dark pictures anthology games for now, they have 6 more to go. Plenty of time for "real" monsters
@kingcamelot1395 well, they change it with the other games (for the most part). House of Ashes have "vampires," while The Devil in Me has a psychopath who is obsessed with H.H. Holmes.

In a way, he is/we (the player) are. He is facilitator during our adventures in choice driven stories, rocketing towards tragedy or solid resolution. We (the player) decide the ultimate outcome.

I call him Amicus (Latin for "friend") for a reason. This is secondary to the fact that I happened to read about a similarly moribund and maddening "ghost writer" named Amicus in a book series before Man of Medan came out.
