@@TibJib9608really? mine is "the light of friendship shines through two dimensions" Idk why but that shit feels so powerful and recontextualizes the violence and unstoppable slaughter of Doomguy as being "the light of friendship" and thusly vice versa "the light of friendship" is recontextualized as meaning endless fkn slaughter to mean people (AKA. demons and satan) I think it shows the connection and Freaky Friday-esk swapping of themes better than all other lyrics.
Canonically, this makes sense, as doomguy has been slaying for years and needs a break to have a peaceful life while Isabelle can often be seen wistful and daydreaming, wishing for something different.
She can. Isabelle works for Tom Nook, and this beast is the real shark of capitalism. The dog needs to relax after its brutal and hard work. Hell is a perfectly suitable place to rest.
It also makes total sense in so many ways. Isabelle probably has a lot of pent up emotions from working herself to near death on a daily basis, even falling asleep at her desk. What better way to let out stress than with rage-induced demon slaughtering? And Doom guy, iirc, once had a pet he loved because it was the once source of joy he had left. Isabelle must remind him of them before they were killed by demons (again, iirc)

the funniest part of this is that it relies on the forgotten context that these two games shared a release date! Hearing Isabelle saying things like “Hell yeah,” “Rip and tear,” and “watch demons bleed” makes me think about what she is behind that town hall worker.
During the war Satan hears someone shouting from wood - "One Slayer is better than ten demons". Angry Satan sends ten demons to deal with the annoying slayer. After short period of shots and dying screams, comes another shout - "One slayer is better than hundred demons". Satan sends a hundred demond and again none of them comes back. Then Satan hears third shout - "One slayer soldier is better than thousand a demons". Furiously Satan sends a thousand demons to deal with hi. This time one of his demons manage to survive and reports to Satan - "Sir, please don't send more of us, it's a trap, there's two of them".
They need to make a form of crossover DLC. Death metal grunting NPC+Armor cosmetics in animal crossing, and a Isabella companion for doom eternal, with her typical voice and interaction dialogues

0:42 I’ve noticed the different nets, and my input on it is that doom guy is looking forward to a more calm, less brutal time in animal crossing, while Isabelle is in a stress full situation by working on the computer all day and having so much anger built up, it’s like they are showing their true colors. I think it shows the connection and Freaky Friday-esk swapping of themes better than all other lyrics.
Canonically, this makes sense, as doomguy has been slaying for years and needs a break to have a peaceful life while Isabelle can often be seen wistful and daydreaming, wishing for something different.
Plus part of his original motivation for killing all demons was his pet rabbit being killed by the demons

I love that this pairing doesn't just totally flip their personalities around. There's room for demon murdering and relaxing picnics in all our lives.
It also makes total sense in so many ways. Isabelle probably has a lot of pent up emotions from working herself to near death on a daily basis, even falling asleep at her desk. What better way to let out stress than with rage-induced demon slaughtering? And Doom guy, iirc, once had a pet he loved because it was the once source of joy he had left. Isabelle must remind him of them before they were killed by demons (again, iirc)

They are one of the weirdest yet sweet Canon married couples in gaming.

Watching this again 4 years later is a very weird experience, because I am craving this period of time when this whole meme was very prevalent, but do not want to deal with that goddamn pandemic again.
