I love the Wesker boss fights (although I do agree that the final one is bullshit, I always die because I don't spam X enough to get up the rock as Sheva). The Wesker and Jill fight is my favourite in the game because it's so satisfying to just keep knocking Wesker out.
What you said around the 2 minute mark about not being able to experience horror as a child; I first played this game when I was in kindergarten as a privilege of my brother letting me use his ps3 and Xbox while he was busy or at school. The chainsaw majiini scared me so much I’d drop the controller and let my mom do it or just quit it haha. I love this game though it was my first 2 player game
NGL some of these were so frustrating I squirmed in my seat as you talked about them. The Wesker fight was so frustrating, I ended up just using the one-shot rocket launcher to get it over with. On the flip side, I missed U-8 cuz I didn't realize at first the RL was a one-shotter :D
Did you know during the final fight against wesker in the arena if you shoot his weak spot on his back and don't hit his front weak spot or you do you can do a QTE to end the fight quickly
i know i am 7 months late but small fun fact about Wesker "Plane QTE 5 minute boss fight" in the Steam HD re-release - all cutscene based QTEs were cut - so you can just sit there and watch whole cutscene - or skip it straight to the vulcano
I agree wesker's 2nd boss fight is the worst, but your not supposed to go for the boulder first. You lead him up the the main area. Then he jumps over to sheva, you then shoot him to stun him as sheva climbs up, then you go for the boulder. Also at the start of the fight when he is going after chris if sheva shoots him with an rpg in his weak spot the fight ends.
I like Resident Evil 6, I just think the length when you play all campaigns overstays the novelty of the gameplay and that Ada's story is dogshit. The intended order of the stories is also not as good as Chris > Jake > Leon.
I actually did a year or two ago. It's not the worst because the game does not have many segments that punish you for it. Revelations 2 did solo better but this game is playable for the most part. 6 on the other hand.....
Well you are actually able to shoot Jill's evil core thing in the 2v1 against her to make he fight go much fast. But if you miss she takes a lot of damage. I remember it having something like 1000 HP and each a tap when pulling deals like 10 damage.
I hope Cytonox sees this a very based take on seeing you could have fun in RE6 or make fun out it, I myself is fan who says RE6 is bad not because it isn't fun it's fucking lazy as shit and spits all over the RE Lore as a grand whole and is a grandiose messy daughter of all omelettes. It is fascinating seeing someone who defends RE6.
Wesker is supposed to have full control over the virus and he just gets a slightly bigger reach. Total letdown when all his previous powers made him already super powerful. All game this virus is built up to be the virus king of all others, Wesker spends the whole series getting materials to craft this. He should have been Birkin but with control. Overall, I like this game and remember it fondly compared to 6 despite so many issues, I give it a Bat Boss is best boss/10.
Great video, Guys! This is one of the RE games I haven't played, but, considering the fact that I hate QTE's, I probably wouldn't enjoy playing this one. Lol. Anyway, I'm enjoying your content as always and look forward to your future uploads!
7:37 I couldn't disagree more if I tried. I feel like I'm permanently drunk playing RE6. The biggest reason being that moving the left stick in any direction points your entire character that way instead of simply strafing, making it awkward to actually control. This way of movement solely exists to make the action sequences possiblenand I hate it. Taking cover was also asinine. Why is it when I hold the left trigger near a full length wall it makes me take cover, but I try the same thing near waist-high cover and I gotta press the A button to hunker down _while still holding LT?_ Why is it that my character can't consistently maintain his or her dominant hand by default? Why do I gotta change that instead of the other way around considering every other 3rd person game lets you maintain your dominant hand?
OG re4 may not allow you to move and shoot but the game is built to make it work. Not only is Leon still comparatively much more agile and snapy to move and control, but the enemies and the general pace of the game's combat is slower and thus balanced. The general slower pace and manipulatable enemy behavior makes for a very unique and special action RE game. On top of that, the extra special and amazing feature of the game is the effective, versatile, and indestructible knife, which, if used skillfully, garuntees plentiful supplies throughout the game and is itself a really fun way to play the game as well. The annoying thing with re5's lack of moving and shooting is that the enemies are more agile and unpredictable and the game, atleast for PC, has an annoying button binding where it's too often possible to accidentally reload instead of sprinting. Because the player cannot move while shooting or reloading, a crucial melee window tends to be wasted and the player himself is also left much more vulnerable.
I for one love The Wesker/Jill vs Chris/Sheva since i usually go with AI and Sheva can hold Jill back so you get to one v one Wesker and that is incredibly satisfying. Dodge, shoot him, punch him, counter attack him, man its great. Funny thing is I actually never use the RPG in Weskers normal form at the end of the game, prefering to beat him down fair and square (yes, professional difficulty but with infinite lightning hawk).
Wesker: "Your future HINGES on this fight!" Cytonox: "I've had ENOUGH OF YOUR BULLSHIT!!" (eggs Wesker in the face, then punches a boulder to run away) Requesting either Tokyo Xanadu or a game in the Ys Series (ranking music, levels or bosses is fair game to me).
were your guys' individual rankings completely unanimous? If so is that the first time it's ever happened? I know the Elden Ring videos didn't have individual rankings but I know it's because you didn't wanna spend too much trying to average them which I get. From what I've seen of the AI partner it's pretty much unplayable without a friend. My friends also like RE6 so hopefully most of the internet doesn't try to dox you over this
Basically, as we played through the game we just averaged our thoughts in real time and argued until we came to a unanimous consensus, we did that for re6 also

I’m struggling with that too. Next time I’ll just use the rocket launcher
Jill is so HOT in RE 5.
This list is backwards asf😂. The only thing in the right order is Uroboros 2nd fight. I think its #3 or 4.

I gotta softspot for Wesker’s final encounter. Just saying.

Tbh all the bosses are horrible especially for single player

As long as you don’t binge it and take breaks between missions you’re fine
I guess the poor Executioner Majini didn't make the cut? Poor dude
I say hes one of my favorite boss fight, best way to start the game.
Great Vid Cytonox! I wouldn’t be able to stand playing this game with the AI

Yakuza 7 ? You've played the Yakuza series ? ....... :) Neat. Any boss ranking for them anytime soon in the future ?
A fitting video since I recently beat RE5 for the first time only a few days ago

So your own incompetence and inability to figure out the final boss fight led to you calling it the worst in the game. Nice.

The Ys games are masterpieces! Origin has an excellent set of dungeons, and Oath in Felghana has one of my favorite boss rosters.

Wait they’re re6 defenders? Yes I’m not the only one
