Kruger, No Place Like it!

Sirheni - Amazing footage of lions on a buffalo kill! In the riverbed just outside of Sirheni Rest Camp, and close to the road, we found a pride of lions on a buffalo carcass. We spent two days watching them eat, but the first day presented us with some amazing close-up footage of two adolescent lions eating on a buffalo calf. Later that evening when we arrived back at camp, we were treated to a wonderful, close encounter with a herd of elephants which had come down to drink at the water hole in the riverbed just outside the fence. Sirheni, my all-time favorite bush camp in Kruger. We will be spending 10 days there in November - get ready for some great footage and experience Sirheni Rest Camp with us.
