Him apologizing to the ray for not killing it faster and having it suffer is so great. It’s why I love Masaru, the respect for life and the things we eat that here in the west we have a lack of it seems. These videos like the soft shell turtle one make me thankful for the food on my table, especially meat.
Thats great and all but the Spotted Ray is near threatened and shouldnt be hunted at all.
@@JackNormalMemes is this international or just in specific regions and countries? Because there are some fish that are endangered in America but not in Japan for example. And I do think it is a country by country basis especially when Japan has very good fishing laws compared to the rest of the world.

Near threatened means the species is likely to become endangered in the near future.
Vulnerable and then endangered means a higher risk of extinction in the wild.
Then of course it leads to extinction in the wild, and finally... Extinction.
Now, as for the Spotted Ray, I can't really say if it is endangered, nor can I say if the "rules" change from country to country.
I can say that I doubt Masuru intended to cause any issues if the ray is endangered/protected where he lives.
When I was a child many decades ago, I found a book belonging to my parents that described in general terms how to butcher your meat from your own livestock.
My parents were unhappy that I found that book. I couldn't understand. This is why Masaru is one of my heroes. It isn't wrong to be curious about how meat is prepared.
I think the suburban west has this really weird taboo of how food and meat is really prepared, its sad to see.
We should not forget that we can eat meat comfortably because of this process

The fisherman challenge is interesting, but I always enjoy watching you fillet various fish and be surprised at their taste. Wish I could be there to taste it too, even the bad tasting ones… except the poison ones… lol. as I always say, “Try everything once.” Looking forward to more video.

If you are stagnant in your weight loss, there is a high chance you need to add more calories or, at least, more fat to your diet. It sounds counterproductive, but your body might be trying to hold onto weight because of your lack of calorie intake. It is a biological survival mechanism to help us in times of low food. PS. your videos are AWESOME!
Sucks that this series is basically fully filmed. Apparently his Instagram shows him currently. Would of been great for him to be able to read comments and get almost guidance. Keto is very strange with the fact that if you don't see results you need more fat but most think less fat and end up with no energy and annoyed. Strawberries are a good snack for keto too in moderation, taste extremely sweet for the fairly low carb/sugar contents.

Use lemon marinade or juice for ammonia. The acid will cancel out the ammonia (base). You can also add a small amount of rice vinegar mixed with soy sauce, little goes a long way.

Ivt eaten ray and it was seriously SO GOOD. after a few days though it started to be a lot less good.
