That telemarketer did pretty good. Most are given a script for their answers and oftentimes never seen the actual product. Unfortunately, I brought 2 and I'm sending them back ASAP. I did talk on the phone with them about returning therm so I have 60 days. Not waiting that long. Thanks for your show. I'm a fan now!
Were you able to return them and get a refund? Did you have to fork out a fortune for shipping that then wasn't reimbursed? I know a lot of these scam companies to honour their return policies at least as much as they're legally required to. They bank on the fact that most people won't bother or won't remember in time or decide it isn't worth it when shipping cost's half the price of the product. But then some companies will just rip you off completely, claim they never received it, or insist that it's been damaged or opened or is scratched or water damaged etc. which voids the warranty, and then they'll say it'll cost like another $20 shipping to get it back. Some places will even insist that you can't return it if you've opened the box, even if you never even took the product out of it. Of course since the item isn't as described and isn't fit for purpose you have a statutory right to a refund and can sue them if they don't comply or complain to the better business bureau or other relevant ombudsman. I was annoyed that Ken just took their word for it ab out the 60 day guarantee and didn't try to get a refund to see if they were telling the truth, especially about honouring it after it was water damaged, possibly destroyed. Just stating they'll refund without any proof especially given all their other lies seems dangerous and reckless to me. People might decide that it's good enough for what they need and a reasonable price at only $50, or maybe they'll have a sale, people could think it was worth trying if they can just return it.
An older used Garmin is a much better idea, especially as Garmin are renowned for very accurate GPS, and I don't think Apple have that claim yet. ...Fitbit are okay I guess, if very basic.

I remember, before I bought (or even was revealed) an Apple Watch, I had a Pebble smartwatch. It didn't have a touch screen, it didn't have a backlight, but it delivered exactly what it advertised and it worked really well for me. The charge lasted over a week, there were downloadable apps and games which worked really well, it controlled my music and calls, it was surprisingly good. That Pebble smartwatch was far more capable and honest about its features in *checks notes* 2013 is far better than the scam smartwatches in this video. I bought an Apple Watch first gen back in the day, and I've never really felt the need to update it since. Still using it current day with my iPhone XS Max. Still notifies me of updates, still tracks workouts (heart rate monitor isnt very accurate anymore), still lets me control tracks and volume of my music, etc. It's a bit clunky and slow sometimes, but it still works. Better than the Pebble, and far better than the scam watches in this video. Great video btw

I've used a Mi Band 3 untill I've lost it. It wasn't exactly a smart watch, but It showed when I had notifications, it showed the time and it did all of the tracking I wanted it to do. While being waterproof and with a battery life of around a week. Ain't gonna buy any kind of watch or tracker any time soon tough, since for hygienic reasons those things need to be off my arm at work.
I love how the tech support rep crumbled into dust at your first sentence. Just completely fell back to the script. Also I love the first thing he says is what's your zip. Amazing
Hey, I got no problem with people doing it. 99% of the time, it's the advertising / marketing (and fake backstories) that make things scammy. Also, lack of fulfillment will piss off people, too, but I'm sure any good logistics team can handle that. I've never done it myself, so I can't speak from personal experience. : )
Ken, I absolutely LOVE your videos!!! You’re the best consumer product advocate I’ve seen since the late 1970’s and early 1980’s when David Horowitz used to run a very similar show on TV. Please keep making more videos. You are REALLY helping the lone consumer in a day and age where it has never been more needed! You’re a true American hero!
I just saw the ad for this and could already smell the BS from it. Did a google search and you video popped up. Loved the depth you’ve gone into for this and other scam products. Liked and subbed instantly! Keep fighting the good fight!
Omg this was hilarious, the add RUclips played before this video was for that exact watch ... trying to convince that it’s as good as an Apple Watch 😂😂
My grandfather found this same watch and asked me if he should buy it. One look at the site was all I needed to know this was a scam. I simply sent this video to him
Love the review of the smart watch Ken. There are so many knock off companies trying to imitate smart watches that you don't know what ones you can trust and which ones are the best value for your level of budget. It's great to see someone like you debunking adverts to help the average Joe make those rational decisions about tech. Subscribed, like and shared 👍👍
Great video! I hope Cardieo’s team watch this video! And I also hope that a lot of people watch this video to be aware of this scam. A virtual hug from Italy :)
Thanks, Ken! I just so ad & did a screenshot to Google it. I don't wear watches but my kid LOVES them. Saw your RUclips link. I've worked in Marketing, Advertising, etc. Plus I've done Telemarketing. Customer Service Rep had a script reply for EVERY question.
Thank you, I saw the RUclips ad for Cardieo, and clicked on the fortune wheel that gave me 70% off, then I got sceptical (because usually I have bad luck) started to investigate and found you!
I love all the bad marketing and stealing these companies do. I’m really surprised apple and other legit companies aren’t cracking down more on these things.
I am so glad I decided to investigate before I clicked on the purchase button, I was so close to getting ripped off! Thank you for your video! Oh, and just before your video comes on, they are showing their advertisement. What garbage!
This is disgusting... I can’t believe someone would blatantly lie about this so badly using literally made up and fake advertising. I really hope no one falls for it... I honestly couldn’t sleep at night if I worked for or operated a company like this. I already can’t sleep at night just knowing this could be tricking people.
This video is so great... thanks for the time and effort of double checking this and make is so fun to enjoy. Simply one of my favorites channels on RUclips, keep it up!
Thank you for the heads up about this watch ! I’ve been there before ! I bought a watch from COtechnology and it was a scam too ! I can’t believe we have those adds on Facebook and consumers get fooled about those false advertisement !!
Looks like the website was updated since your video came out, which is good. Looks closer to what it's supposed to be given what you were showing. No mention of water resistance, that I could find, either. At least they fixed their mistake, but too little too late, I'd be surprised if anyone buys their watch any more.
That thing is essentially the same as the $23 "fitness" watch I bought about a month ago. I didn't even use it for long, I got it just to see if having a "smartish" watch on my wrist was something I'd be interested in (I'm a mechanical watch guy). Turned out I liked the concept, so I bought a T-Rex Pro to replace it with. Oh, you _can_ swim with it. At least once.
They sell them here in thailand at the local markets. I was just curious and loked a little closer. The seller said; if you want a good one, buy original. I gave him the money for one without taking the watch a d thanked him for his honesty. The 10 bucks didn’t hurt me but he was happy
I just saw this add & was impressed by what they said... checked their website, looked dodgy. Decided to google Cardieo & your video was 3rd on the list, on my screen. Glad I watched your video. To answer your question.... no, 4 weeks on from you posting this & they haven’t changed anything about the video.
I am glad I found this video. Recently bought an Apple watch and then seen the Cardieo ads and thought ... maybe I made a mistake and should have bought them. Thanks my mind is at ease.
I personally enjoy seeing those fly-by-night hardware manufacturers try to imitate popular Apple products using whatever technology they have available. One fly-by-night hardware manufacturer will be like "we don't have inductive charging, so let's use pogo pins but advertise inductive charging anyway" and another will be like "we have neither inductive charging nor pogo-pins, so let's put a USB port in the wristband and have the user take off the wristband to charge the watch"... It's just hilarious. It was the same when the iPhone was all the rage, there would be various iPhone knock-offs with various degrees of resemblance to the real thing.
I'm one of the FIRST YAY!! Also who got a ad for this watch on yt about this guy who had a $300 apple watch and his wife had the $50 Cardieo watch and talked about how it was better and all that BS. I LOVE YOU KRAZY KEN
I've recently been looking for a new smartwatch, and, surprise surprise, this Cardieo ad started popping up all over. Don't worry, I didn't fall for it, knew everything they were claiming couldn't be possible for $50, spent my hard-earned money on a Ticwatch pro 3 instead.
Many thanks. I saw all the ads and was half thinking of getting one. Then I saw your video and got the message. I've liked, subbed and shared! Great job.

I do not fault companies for creating a cheaper alternative technology, but it makes me angry when they intentionally make deceitful claims.
You’re doing a good service Ken!
Thanks : )
that feeling when a 15$ fitness watch has a better battery life than a 50$ one...
Mi band ftw
@@dan3a Yep, have the Mi Band 4 for about a year at this point, no issues with it, worst thing was it started updating once when i needed to go somewhere :D
@@martinytcz1762 I installed notify & fitness so I do all updates manually, but I stay on a version on which the battery life is awesome
@@sagichdirdochnicht4653 Week?? I think ur is broken, my minimum on 3 is two week.

I love how the tech support rep crumbled into dust at your first sentence. Just completely fell back to the script.
Also I love the first thing he says is what's your zip. Amazing
I always thought about drop shipping my own brand off Alibaba but now know there’s people like you ready to hold me accountable 😂
So long as you're honest and price accordingly, I see no issue with that.
@@ComputerClan did you pre-order the Waze watch? For $20
@computer clan what smart watch is good to buy in the market nowadays. Kindly help out
Ken, I absolutely LOVE your videos!!! You’re the best consumer product advocate I’ve seen since the late 1970’s and early 1980’s when David Horowitz used to run a very similar show on TV. Please keep making more videos. You are REALLY helping the lone consumer in a day and age where it has never been more needed! You’re a true American hero!
you just saved my ass from falling into a scam, thanks dude
I just saw the ad for this and could already smell the BS from it. Did a google search and you video popped up. Loved the depth you’ve gone into for this and other scam products. Liked and subbed instantly! Keep fighting the good fight!
This could very well lead to a lawsuit. Also, I don’t work for this company, even though my name is JAAAAAAAAACK
Thank you for exposing this scam! I almost bought one of these.
Me too 🙂 Looked too good to be true. Grateful for scam busters like this gentleman.
So sad i order mine too late for me

Damn, if you fall for this you must be gullible in general 💀 especially if you are a grown adult.
I just literally saw an ad about Cardieo Smart Watch on one of your videos.
I’m ashamed that I fell for this slick marketing! So thankful for this video to help others to not be a victim like me!

Omg this was hilarious, the add RUclips played before this video was for that exact watch ... trying to convince that it’s as good as an Apple Watch 😂😂
targeted ads
It was intentionally targetted so you wouldn't watch the video and and buy it
I’ve seen the cardieo ad I was wondering why I’ve never heard of that RUclipsr ever and now I know why
I just got this ad, and was interested.....for 39$. I checked your channel, and again, I saved 39$!! I'm a subscriber now!
So why on earth do these get advertised on RUclips when they're trash?
I just clicked on this page to watch the review and the ad that played before I could watch this review was the actual Cardieo watch ad 🤣
I almost fell for the scam. Thank you for the review!!!!!
I got a 5c from a flea market , with internal settings and guff, so why in the hells I took it to a skate park and broke it , i don't know
I realized how I was fooled to buy this product, I just called them and cancelled my order.
Thank you for posting this video.
Great video! I hope Cardieo’s team watch this video! And I also hope that a lot of people watch this video to be aware of this scam. A virtual hug from Italy :)
I almost got sucked into getting this watch. Thank you for saving me money and time.
When the ad for Cardieo shows up at the beginning of this video 👍
Thanks, Ken! I just so ad & did a screenshot to Google it. I don't wear watches but my kid LOVES them. Saw your RUclips link. I've worked in Marketing, Advertising, etc. Plus I've done Telemarketing. Customer Service Rep had a script reply for EVERY question.
There are a few dislikes from Cardieo marketing team ☺️. Great video, Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you : )
I love how the guy on the phone knew immediately what was in the manual, but had to refer back to the website to check those claims...
Thanks for buying one so that I didn’t have to!
Wish I seen this before I bought 2 of them
Thank you, I saw the RUclips ad for Cardieo, and clicked on the fortune wheel that gave me 70% off, then I got sceptical (because usually I have bad luck) started to investigate and found you!
almost bought two of them. Thanks for the content!
I love the phone call. “This is …” (looks at post-it note on screen) “… Jack …”
It would've been funny if the guy on the phone said "You are Kitboga?"
Or Jim Browning.
Or atomic shrimp
Nice, got a Cardieo smart watch ad before the video started.
Introducing refresh rate: Powerpoint
This is disgusting... I can’t believe someone would blatantly lie about this so badly using literally made up and fake advertising. I really hope no one falls for it... I honestly couldn’t sleep at night if I worked for or operated a company like this. I already can’t sleep at night just knowing this could be tricking people.
No shopify store? What kind scam is this?
Nope, their website is not updated yet. Your video saved me $$$ Thank you.
I got served a knock off smart watch ad that “does it all” wtf. Haha.
Saw that add on youtube and visited the site, luckily I found your review because I hate getting ripped off.
That customer support guy sounded like he was reading a script for what to say
Of course!
When I clicked on the link to your video from a Google search the Cardieo watch ad started up prior to your review. Have they no shame! LOL.
This video is so great... thanks for the time and effort of double checking this and make is so fun to enjoy. Simply one of my favorites channels on RUclips, keep it up!
Thank you so much. : )
Thank you for the heads up about this watch ! I’ve been there before ! I bought a watch from COtechnology and it was a scam too ! I can’t believe we have those adds on Facebook and consumers get fooled about those false advertisement !!
Thanks for the info. I got a good laugh regarding their advertisement.
Looks like the website was updated since your video came out, which is good. Looks closer to what it's supposed to be given what you were showing. No mention of water resistance, that I could find, either.
At least they fixed their mistake, but too little too late, I'd be surprised if anyone buys their watch any more.
Thank you for saving my $50.
8:26 PLEASE SEND THEM TO DANK PODS
I find it hilarious that the ad before the video was the cardieo ad, and the ad below the video is for the Cardieo watch.
Lol got an ad for this watch at the beginning of this video 🤣
same
They sell them here in thailand at the local markets. I was just curious and loked a little closer. The seller said; if you want a good one, buy original. I gave him the money for one without taking the watch a d thanked him for his honesty. The 10 bucks didn’t hurt me but he was happy
This one really made you angry and I'm not surprised you know this reminds me on the drug dealer phone that's just a Samsung phone
My mom has this exact model with different software. Good thing she new it was a dropship and bought it at a manufacturing price on AliExpress.
I got a Cardieo ad on this vid...
I am glad I found this video. Recently bought an Apple watch and then seen the Cardieo ads and thought ... maybe I made a mistake and should have bought them. Thanks my mind is at ease.
I’ll make a scam site just to have a chat with krazy Ken

I love that all the adverts on this video that RUclips added were for knockoff Apple watches.
I’ve seen the Maxwatch clone (Swiss watch)
To be fair, Apple stuff is made in China as well.
And they are paid slaves wages
The Ad below this video:
"This $49 Smart watch does all. Minus the huge price tag" 😂
I just had such a great a nap but missed the video :/ 😂
Guy covered heah to toe in Apple gear telling me not to be influenced by marketing 😂
I got to this video because I saw the video ad, thanks for saving me from a mistake.
I am grateful to this video and the author. You can't believe I was about to click to order.
I LOVE these scam videos!!! It's just ridiculous what people can get away with
I personally enjoy seeing those fly-by-night hardware manufacturers try to imitate popular Apple products using whatever technology they have available.
Funny how their reviews have the same things written by different people, great video as always!

The guy on the phone sounds like a tech support scammer
Many thanks. I saw all the ads and was half thinking of getting one. Then I saw your video and got the message.
I've liked, subbed and shared! Great job.
haha! dang I almost bought one till watching your video!Glad I did! 🤣😂🤣
Same. I’m glad I started researching
I think I have a Cardieo or anything else that represents an Apple Watch Series 6. It has a MTK chip, software and even firmware
The one day I'm sick he doesn't say, “Really? That's great!” 🤔
*_Did he bug my house??!_*
Sorry : p
I actually haven't said it lately. I was trying a little something different.
If you see ads for junk, make sure you watch them the whole way. You stick it to them and support the content you're about to see.
“It even looks and feels like an Apple Watch- oh wait, we forgot, it is!”
I think it’s now called the FitsWatch / T500.
Anyone surprised its an Indian dude with a generic American name?
