Good afternoon Jennifer. That's a pretty neat get together. Lots of interesting items. Lots of addicts get together in Rockport as well. It's usually in the Walmart parking lot around 2:30 AM.😢
Yes it is very usable. I'm in a pyrex group on Facebook and we tend to celebrate when people actually use their pyrex! I have a small set that I use and a few other pieces that I just display.
Thank you Kim! One of the ladies told me she has a friend that uses those to eat his dinner out of, meat on one side veggies on the other! Someone who loves that pattern will buy it eventually I'm sure.
At one point, I owned close to 70 pieces of vintage Pyrex, I started collecting in 2006, sold/donated all of them by 2010 because I was scared of lead 😢 they’re so beautiful though.
Where is the swap meet at i wish i would have known i collected for 10 years 40 totes later still love i want pyrex earrings and tshirts i have a friendship pixie which is my fav i love gooseberry and amish butterprint hoping for pink and pumpkin next
That sounds like a great collection! The meet I went to was in Iowa, but below is a link that has a listing for all the swap meets in the country for 2024, maybe there'll be one near you. 😊 shinyhappypyrexpeople.com/pyrex-swaps-2024/

I'm not sure when they stopped making it with lead, but that would be good information to know. I admire most of it from afar anyway! 😂
Awesomeness!
