We have both full set of the Homestead mixing bowls plus a few other dishes. My mom bought them new & they have faithfully served our family for 40yrs. I only just learned about vintage Pyrex but now have to invest in my own since those things are near indestructible & I love working with them.
I had a similar experience at Goodwill with a Pyrex container & lid. I’m glad I checked it before paying for it. I’m surprised you aren’t keeping the blue bow goose & duck.
Exercised my right to eat ice cream in Plymouth! Didn't bother to tour the replica ship and thought how hard it would be to retrieve my phone if it happened to fall into the rock's pit so didn't bother with pictures. I have rocks in my yard I can look at every day!😂 But it was a nice place to visit! Wouldn't mind going back someday.
Haha yes! That Little Rock was some surprising! 😆 It is a great little town though I’d love to explore it a bit more. We took a sunrise in on the Plymouth shore there near the pebble I mean rock. 😁
Yeah, I don’t understand it either. Idk if it might have just been in a pile of stuff in a box and they just moved it on by accident or what. I mean who wouldn’t be proud of an ancestor with an epic of a mustache as him? 😁 🧡💛
Sometimes people simply no longer know who the person is or inherited them from someone else and its not a family member. Myself, I wouldn't care I'd "adopt" him and treasure his photo on a gallery wall. But then my kids would be donating him to a thrift store when I pass. LOL
Love the vintage art pottery bird. Do you sell directly? Didn’t see it on your Etsy or eBay stores. I collect vintage art pottery and am interested in purchasing.
I already have it listed for my next what not sale currently. If it doesn’t sell next Thursday the 27th I’ll try to get back to you here directly okay? Thanks for the interest! I have a link on the video description to Whatnot if you are interested in attending for it. You can make a pre-claim on it before the live show starts and as long as no one claims higher during the show, you could end up with it. Hopefully that made sense. I am putting things in my Etsy soon, just trying to get my Whatnot up and running at the moment so was focusing there first these next couple weeks. 🧡💛
@@NestingHaven I haven’t explored Whatnot yet, but know it’s hot now. Have to admit that auctions stress me out a little so tend to avoid them. Thanks for the reply though!
Coffee cup with the bear was adorable
Heath bar is chocolate coated toffee bar. Similar to a Skor bar
Oh okay! Thank you. I was always a peanut butter and chocolate candy person so I never had tried that one. 🧡💛
Dairy Queen has a Heath Blizzard! Yum!

The Irish tinker’s wagon plate was fantastic!

The mid-century bird looks like a roadrunner to me 😉
Haha and now there is a third bird in the ring! 🧡💛
I vote for the roadrunner! Also called chaparral birds, a member of the cuckoo family.
The bear mug is the best! I feel like that could be my motto. Great finds
Haha yes! 😆
That looks more like a pheasant than a peacock! It’s a pretty piece! ❤
Some are now saying roadrunner too ahaha do we got three birds in the ring. 🧡💛
I think Peggy from Crazy 4 Retro has some of these birds. She has sets of them in orange and pink if I remember correctly.

Hey! Going to put a new video out tomorrow night! Sorry it’s been a rough go but I’m working on coming back, thanks for checking in on me 🧡💛
Peggy from Crazy 4 Retro would love that white pheasant, she would probably paint it. Love her & Norm. I have some Pyrex that I can't give away. ugh.
Peggy is such a sweetheart, adore her and Norm as well. 🧡💛
I thought so too. ❤
The blue & gold swan is from the fifties.

Love the video ❤❤
Thanks Joyce! 🧡💛
Very pretty Irish plate!
Love the Pyrex
nice mug
I have the two-tone brown creamer/sugar bowl set. A favorite in my collection.
Love the pyrex bowl! I always find the older pictures interesting, yet sad. Why would the family give those away!?

Bird makes me think of a road runner
I thought so too.
