I went Thrifting at Goodwill to find vintage home decor items to resell for profit on eBay and also found a few keepers for myself. Eating dessert first is my philosophy!☺️ Loved the house memo holder! I like the teapot/cup saucer combos.
The floral plate was gorgeous and the earthen looking bowl with the blue.
Nicole, the milk glass pedestal bowl with the reticulated edge at 3:15 you should grab, crafters use them to make a pin cushion in the center and they hang their tools through the holes of the edge. I got my mom one last year after hunting forever and she is a quilter and uses it for hand stitching supplies.♥️

The large floral plate reminded me of your floral stitchery. I am like you. I do not buy something just because it is popular or has a signature or certain label. I buy it because I like it and don't feel the need to buy something just because others like it.

The holly and berry creamer and sugar are Lefton. I have them and my creamer still has the Lefton sticker on the bottom. I don't use cream in my coffee. They were my Mom's. She had the whole set. What's left, I still use at Christmas.

I love Avon. They collaborated with many talented, well known artists. Too bad that information has been lost to history as far as I know. I was an Avon "lady" when I was 17/18 years old back in the 70s. So, I do have a soft spot for Avon.
The little puppy ornament was so cute.
Wow I love how a lot of the stickers are on the side instead of bottoms there. Ours are always covering any identification

I would have grabbed those two Hallmark bird ornaments! I love them,and they weren't over priced.You won't find any of those in our thrift stores.

I totally agree. Like the Rae Dunn stuff? So ugly to me... but people loved it. Of course now the resell value has tanked. Lol. The curse of the trendy stuff!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

Butter bells originated from France. They are great for keeping butter room temperature but yet safe from being becoming rancid.

Yes! Me too! There are a lot of things people get because they think they are valuable but often they just are not my taste. I like having more unique things in my decor. 😊
I love Avon cologne/ perfume figurines! I personally collect western style ones- I have a quail and a cowboy on a bucking mustang . I don’t listen to anyone who boohoos the Avon figurals!

Wow I just saw that set of butter bells the other day! No where near you. I know what they are for, but had no idea they had individual ones.
Angela Seward I keep butter on the counter in a stoneware crock (except in the warm summertime). and I would like the butter bells, especially a single one though.

Could the southwestern candle holder be an insense burner?
There wasn’t a holder inside, the shape looks more for a candle. And the cut outs will expose the candle light in a cool way, casting shadows of the shapes I would imagine.

Do you think avon decanters are good sellers?
They don’t bring a lot of profit BUT I do sell them. I’m picky about the ones I pick up. I have gotten use to what my customers like for decor. So for instance cats, I would always pick up. The people figure ones I tend not too. The multitude purpose ones, such as having a pin cushion on the top is also a good one to grab. But again small profit margin. I just like the bottles and think Avon did an amazing job on their product packaging. They deserve to stick around. 😊
I agree! Best packaging. I found a yellow satin glass oil lamp avon Decanter, It used to have a candle in it. Also found a looks like a peacock standing up. Brass looking head ( top) the body is glass. I got them for $ 2.50 each. Figured even with low profit margin I would make a few bucks. Lol. 😊. Thank you for your input, greatly appreciated. 😊
