Thank you! I’m very brand new at reselling vintage and/or antique items and my first purchase for $10 at a thrift store was a set of 8 candlewick saucers and cups. I had no clue about them at that moment but just loved how they looked and felt.
Oh my ! I’ve seen some of those pieces in thrift stores here, but passed them over . I didn’t think they were anything spectacular . Thanks for the great info as always 😊 I love the coloured depression glass . Especially if I find stunning cake stands .
Thank you for this. I have a couple of sets of clear Candlewick that I inherited. It was fun to recognizing a few of the pieces that you featured. I am thinking I might want to rotate them with my newer China for family holidays.
Thank you friend! I had seen this type of glass but didn't know what it was called so if a viewer had not suggested it I would have had no clue. Turns out I have a little bit in my cabinet, who knew?!
Would love you to feature depression glass. Also, I remember some powdered detergent companies used to have in the box bowls that were brown outside but blue inside. Have you seen those or know their story? ❤
I was recently gifted approximately 100 pieces of Candlewick. It includes dozens of different size and shape tumblers, dinner and breakfast plates, full punch bowl set, large and small serving pieces, champagne glasses, and one blue platter. Should I try marketing this myself or see if antique dealers might want the whole lot?
What an awesome set to be gifted! I wonder if you could see what an antique dealer might give you for it and then decide if you are willing to sell for that price or if you want more. If not you could always try to sell it for more and then go back to an antique dealer as a backup. That's just my thought!
I'm not an expert, but I believe if it's real candle wick the balls do not touch. But you could contact an antique appraiser or auction company in your area and they may be able to verify for you for sure. 😊
I have a vase that has red “beads” at the base of the vase. The vase is clear, etched with a scalloped edge. Is this boogie or candle wick? The beads do not touch.
I'm not an expert, so I don't know for sure. But information online says that genuine Candlewick is actually crystal that has excellent clarity, so no flaws or bubbles in the glass. I would check antiqueanswers.com as they have some excellent information about Candlewick that might help you. 😊
Rewatching 🎉

I am also a reseller and it's been fun learning about all these different things, their history and their value! Good luck to you!
My great aunt worked for Imperial in the 40s (I think) and gave her collection to my mom which I now have. Love learning anything about the glassware.
That's an awesome collection to have, and even more special because it's been handed down in your family. Thank you for watching! 😊
That’s Awesome! Have an incredible weekend! 🤩❤️✨
Thank you! You too! 😊
Love antiques Jennifer! We have a few pieces. However, old stoves and lanterns are my thing.
I will add those to my list, I may be able to find enough about stoves anyway, to make a video out of it.
Good morning friend. Back for a rewatch.🎉
Good morning and thank you

I have some large unusual pieces which have large balls and not sure it candlewick.
