This is a great video! I am currently taking the PCES course and LOVING It. One question (not sure if there’s a better place inside PCES to ask this)- do you have a video on regressions from dead bug? If a patient is unable to keep pelvis/spine still during dead bug, what would you try as preparation for dead bug? Thank you!

You can try putting their feet up on a wall and working from there. You can also try bolstering their upper body and see how they feel as well.

When engaging your core how should we breathe ie into the chest or belly?

You will want to breath into your rib cage and aim for a 360 degree expansion of your ribs - - your belly might rise some as well.

Thank you for what you do. One question, if I may:
Since the Transverse Abdominis reaches the rib cage, is it okay to have light sensations there when exercising the muscle? I ask because when I am doing even light TA work, such as leg floats and hoverings, I have muscle sensations below the rib cage as well while keeping correct posture and making sure the rectus abdominis is not doing the work (correct breathing, being able to talk while exercising, not flexing, no sit-up form).
