I'd glady have my face put in the newspaper saying that I'm not having sex until marriage. Why should I be embarrassed because I love God and I love my future wife. I mean Jesus Himself said that even looking at a woman lustfully is adultery, I want my wife to know I'm just for her!
Interesting. I wasn't raised in church, didn't really read the Bible, wasn't in any type of Christian culture or influence and I was a fornicator for 18 years. I had a son unmarried, I was abused by narcissists and then when I DID become a Christian as an adult I was severely bullied and falsely accused by a mob of narcissists including my own parents. 2 of them were men I had slept with. One who I had my son with, and the other I was engaged to. I almost lost my job and the extreme stress and pain was indescribable. Do you know what my "crime" was according to them? How they justified what they did to me? I believe the Bible.
But yeah...what happened to you sounds awful.... so much worse than the consequences of sleeping with people before marriage. 🙄
Here's my advice to you. Stop being a false pastor and do the thing you are suggesting the chruch do. Teach people HOW to both follow Gods commands AND view sex as a beautiful thing not to be ashamed of, meant for a man and woman in marriage. Or is that not really your agenda? It's obvious it isn't.
