Just in case no one has ever told you, but if you see Igor Krutoy on the stage with Dimash, he wrote the song. Some of them are new covers of some of his older works or like this one and Olympico, he wrote them especially for Dimash. They have quite a successful partnership.
The original version of this song Ascolta La Voce (vocalise) was written by Igor many years ago and Lara Fabian performed it in 2010. I believe the lyrics were written for Dimash for this version. In his concerts though, Dimash usually performs the Ascolta La Voce vocalise version.

I think the record for the most flowers he has been giving to hold was in a performance on Slavic Bazaar, singing Love is like a Dream, he's dressed in a red vest, black pants and it is incredibly funny! 😅 He expressed that it must have been a post pandemic effect. I am so glad you reacted to this one. The stage and performance are stunning. You don't find this music anywhere else. Beautiful and amazing. Dimash is always beautiful himself to look at. His grace and natural movement draws you in coupled with that voice. It's something special. Not for everyone is OK. But the miss out because Dimash has injected so much good into my life. He's a keeper and one day as a Dear...I want to dine at his new lovely restaurant in his home town of Aktobe...or Astana.(?)

Igor Krutoy - on piano - came out of retirement to play for our Dimash.
This song has a special place in my heart too.
New Wave (Russian: Новая волна, Novaya volna, Latvian: Jaunais Vilnis) is an international contest for young performers of popular music founded in 2002 by the Russian composer Igor Krutoy and Latvian pianist and composer Raimonds Pauls and later enhanced by the Russian superstar Alla Pugacheva. The contest usually lasts for six days: 3 contest days, 2 special event days and, at the end, the day where the contest's results are announced followed by an ending concert.
In 2019 Dimash performed the song „Know“ as a guest not as a competitor. And in 2021 Dimash was even one of the judges of this competition.
