- I'm practically speechless. I never really found any of my covers particularly good, let alone good enough to earn the interest of 6,000 people. I wish I could do more than make music to show my gratitude, but music and video games are pretty much all I know, and I can't code for beans and franks. In any case, thank you all for your support, and I hope you enjoy this behemoth of a song.

Remember when N destroyed the world and Hilda had to reunite her pokemon team after exploring the World of Ruin and then fight him again inside Team Plasma's Castle to save Unova?
I thought that Ghetsis struck N down with the power of the Brothers and threw N to his death just before the world was destroyed. IIRC, Pokemon attacks, even if they came from one of the Tao dragons, did not affect Ghetsis when he was standing between the 2 statues.
Not sure if this is from the plot of FF6 or the Pokemon Special manga.

Why do I feel like this could actually work in Pokemon? Imagine a sort of 'elite four' sort of battle where you first have to battle the seven sages, and then Ghetsis himself at the end? Due to my lack of creativity, and the fact that I've forgotten the personality of most of the sages, I couldn't possibly come up with a team for them each fitting this sort of theme of 'mad with power.'
Sometimes, a song, though using a certain game's instruments, doesn't sound like a song from that game. This is not one of those times. I could see this in B/W/B2/W2, though if it was in those it'd probably not be a single track.
That is not why this is excellent. It is excellent because it is Parabeetle X. But it is something I felt like pointing out.

@@nightman922 Oh wow, I forgot I made that comment, in all honesty. I think it was an orchestral/rock remix I linked to? I found a Metal Opera version by Trash Panda Music that I also highly recommend, if that serves as a suitable alternative.
Dancing Mad is not complete without Kefka's signature laugh!
This plays when Ghetsis has REALLY had enough of you meddling kids, and Hilda, Hilbert, Rosa, and Nate are forced to team up to beat him Max Raid style.
Against a tower full of insanity and reflect Ghetsis desire and the last phase is himself, as a purple been with Arceus chain on him.

Dancing Mad is quite the impressive track. It was composed as a way to encompass the sheer madness of Kefka all in one composition as well as the entirety of FF6. Somehow, some way, you've worked some kind of sorcery and managed to make the song function perfectly fine within the confines of a DS game that is no way related to Final Fantasy, let alone FF6. This is an extremely complicated thing to achieve but you did it and I feel that speaks volumes about your talent/taste for music as well as compositions. Thank you for this and I am truly glad it exists.
P.S.: That Kefka laugh sound byte was brilliant. It felt completely natural and worked in the sound font like a charm. Imagine if you had a Pokemon fan game structured with Kefka as a boss of an evil team. He leads the whole team on and then ends up executing them via poison all in one fell swoop and then you hear this chilling sound.
So who's gonna tell him this was on SNES as well? With the entire 15 minute track and everything?
maybe just maybe because the snes only had PCM samples and this is full on fm synthesis lol........

Holy fuck, it took me four years to find this gem??? This is one of the best soundfont remasters of Dancing Mad I've ever heard, and let me tell you why. It's not just a copy paste soundfont thing like what most other people do, which is done more out of a "what would this sound like" curiosity than actual effort. You put your own real spin on it and made it just a little bit unique. It stands out from most others, and I applaud you for that. It really feels like what you'd get if Kefka invaded the world of Gen 5 Pokemon.

Oh damn, you've certainly have improved a fuckton lmao; I did _not_ expect this to be this good, but ngl, this might definitely be the best B2W2 cover I have heard
it's pretty sad how most people don't know how versatile the sound set of both the Gen 5 games are, especially with all the shitty soundfont "MIDI-slap" covers circulating around, but I always thought you handled whatever soundfont you used in a much better manner than most people, and this is probably the perfect song to demonstrate that
Also, the way the arrangement was done is also very solid; for the most part, it's very faithful to the style of B2W2's music, and because of that now I'm imagining this in the game but arranged by both Go Ichinose and Hitomi Sato haha
You should be more proud of yourself tbh; transcribing and having the skill to make a cover of the entirety of Dancing Mad in this manner was, and still is a very good way to prove yourself as a musician, and it was done wonderfully here IMHO; not many people can do that, just saying :V
That description... Man, you are underestimating yourself.
In fact, you have so so many songs made, that proves you are really skilled at this. Underrated, sure. Thinking people dont care or not mattering? Nope. In fact, you have such a variety of songs, that I cannot even recognize half of them so I don't even click them.
But let me say that pretty much every song of yours I listened, usually the soundfont swap made the song better, and you did that manually. And even though I don't comment in other songs, I had to in this one because of the description, and because I genuinely think this is better than the original Dancing Mad. These past few days I was searching for a remix to surpass the original dancing mad but I gave up, and to find a better one when I wasn't searching is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one :)
This is the theme of Arceus at full power. Pokéballs physically do not work until you've painstakingly whittled it down to a point that it deems you worthy of even *attempting* to obtain its power.

I remember this rare Magicite where you summon some kind of gigantic blue hedgehog Esper with thirst for souls.
I've heard it's a Dark/Flying type and it's extremely fast with his attacks, which makes it impossible for the enemy dodge

This honestly might be my favorite remix of dancing mad. It sounds a lot like the original which I'm nostalgic for, but it's cleaner. And the composer didn't skimp out on any of the little details and backing melodies.

I can imagine this being a final battle that takes place as post champion content. The enemy team leader has gathered up the legendaries to destroy the world, and is found and challenged to a battle by the player. The first pokemon would be Giratina, followed by Palkia and Dialga, and the final challenge would be Arceus, holding either a dark or dragon plate to change it's typing.
