I would pay a lot of money to go to a concert where I can hear part 3 live. I wanna feel that low organ reverberate all the air around me, you know? but until then, listening to this video with large speakers is highly recommended. I also added a healthy dose of reverb to add to the huge church feeling
Hey brody, I tipped you $20 a while ago on your patreon, I believe? That link you have. :D It was for the "Begin Treasure Hunting" from kirby superstar in the Kirby 64 sound font If need be I can tip again, I remember you telling me you had it in your queue. Would love to hear from yah, I am so hype for that crossover!!
@@Frankeh oh shit I totally forgot that happened! that file’s been sitting way down in my computer since I haven’t touched it in forever, but I’ll make sure to finish it up in the coming weeks
I would pay zero dollars to not be surrounded by people hollering and somehow being louder than _the entire damned orchestra_ at the end of every song.
I'm still fascinated that it still retains the single choir (with the organ and the drums) at the second part of the fifth movement, most remixes messes up with that part.
Out of everything in the piece, the organ in the beginning is so much more resonant in the beginning but doesn't lose the original's impact - it improves it in every way! It's a rite of passage for any video game cover RUclipsr to at some point attempt this behemoth of a track - and you hit it out of the park.
I've listened to the Final Fantasy IX soundtrack so much and I like picking out the parts of IX's music like "Dark Messenger" and "Festival of the Hunt" that you used for this piece. I could listen to this all day.
It's called Final Fantasy because Square Enix thought it'd be their last game before going bankrupt and it saved the company. It is kinda funny that it retained the name after an origin like that though lol
@@Mugenrithis is actually incorrect. It’s called Final Fantasy simply because “Fighting Fantasy” was already trademarked, but they wanted to stick with the FF abbreviation because it sounded cool and was easy for Japanese people to say (efu-efu)
There's three kinds of people. Clueless "How Many FINAL Fantasies there can be?" Mythical "Because Square thought it would be their final game" Based "They just wanted a title that would have two words beginning on two letters, like Dungeons and Dragons or Might and Magic"
@@Mugenri I didn't know that Squaresoft and Enix have merged BEFORE Final Fantasy 1 XD. But still, that "Origin of the title" is a myth. They just wanted a cool title with two letters FF for memorable sound.
Imagine that in the final showdown with Kuja, you get to run a much longer gauntlet, going against him, and this plays as you face the Four Fiends before going to Deathguise. Would be beautiful to see happen.
I actually do this thing where I use VGMtrans and extract the instruments from different FF9 songs, then combine them… in a way it’s my own soundfont but idk the game well enough to make a complete one, and there are a ton of instruments
It always makes me happy to hear Kefka’s laugh being entirely untouched in nearly every remix of Dancing Mad
It’s in the sheet music, actually!

this sound font really treats the organ music right in this track. I love it.

Hype!!! I'm so glad you made the entire song!
This is mixed perfectly, good job 🗡.
Man, this is a wonderful recreation
this is amazing, thank you so much for making it and uploading it on my birthday :>
Dancing Mad really is such a banger
Two of my favorite games combined into one. I'm impressed 👍😁. Keep up the fantastic work!!
I beat this game today, I also saw this video the day it was posted. Oh man did you deliver the goods… it was well worth waiting for. 😙
really cool! btw id love to see more zelda songs with final fantasy soundfonts, theyre always my favorite ones youve done

Maybe bring back the simultaneous battles from disc 3, four in a row?
You never fail to impress with these! I love what you’ve done with the organ! Also how’s the ff6 soundfont going?
ff6 really does have a lot of instruments but I think it’s time to start finalizing
Holy shit
This is great
At tier 2 purgatory.
Sounds amazing so far
With the Final Fantasy 9 Sound Font it looks great 🚬🍷
Awesome
You should make a reverse of this, "Dark Messenger" in the FFVI sound font
YESS LETS GOO
wow!
I highly recommend getting some open-back headphones like the Sennheiser HD series for this.
actually got some waiting on my post-christmas list ・̑◡・̑
can you please show us a link to the ff9 soundfont you use? i would love to hear one winged angel with the ff9 soundfont

This is great. I'd love to see what you could do with The Extreme from FF8 in the Xenogears soundfont. Or maybe FF Tactics!

The nerd in me really wants to see this broken down in to each voice one at a time, so I can better follow each individual waveform/sound.

Can you reupload the link?
whoops must’ve accidentally deleted it
fixed :)
How’d you find this soundfont?
I extracted the instruments from the game itself, so there isn’t really a full soundfont
I just bought ff9 and ff6 on the same day
