what if ganondorf battle was inside castle with 4 stages: floor 1-phantom ganon floor 2-ganondorf sword fight (like in twilight princess) floor 3-ganondorf sorcerer floor 4-demon king ganon
Your disbelief is very flattering. Thank you! To be fair though, I did need help with the almost-inaudible pedal/kick drum from 7:07 to the end, and with the organ jazz solo at 8:04.
The sound fonts between the two games are very similar, but theres definitely some sections where the differences stick out more because of that similarity.
Both soundfonts have pretty comprehensive orchestral instrument selections and samples with pretty solid quality given their games' hardware limitations, so the similarities are fairly organic and spontaneous. I did however tweak the release rates on some of the drums at the end so they'd abruptly cut off like the drums in FFVI. I also had to account for the men and women choirs' slow attack rates by shifting all their notes to start earlier to make it sound like they're hitting their beats on time.
Yeah, right? I mean I first heard this, the Prologue, Terra's theme, and Celes' theme way back in the 00's in an old RUclips Poop called "Final Spaghetti II," but it wasn't until 2018 when 8-Bit Music Theory made a video about those songs that I learned they were all from FFVI, and just because of the music, it became my first and favorite Final Fantasy game. Easily one of the strongest soundtracks of all time IMO.
Holy shit, this is absolutely incredible even without considering that you transcribed the entire piece by ear!? You absolutely deserve my sub and deserve thousands, no, MILLIONS more! Keep up the great work! :))
It's super validating to know that there're even a few people who enjoy what I like making; thank you so much! 😁 (Though to be fair, that jazzy organ solo 16th-note shredding in the final movement just before the slowdown was a bit too jarbled for me to entirely follow even slowed down, and I had to consult 8-Bit Music Theory's video to correct my guesses, and "Mad Square Dancing" helped for transcribing the kick/pedal drum, too)
Dude.... Id say this remix is up their with the likes of Sangnoksu and Shnabubula in terms of perfecting the dancing mad asthetic in a different scenario. Awesome job! ^u^👍
I, uh, made that version too... for MM Rando... but not until one week later ;_; Kinda wish I thought of that first because that would've made the most sense >_
It mostly is, actually! The OoT and MM fonts are the same with a select few instruments exclusive to either game. For example, the church organ appears only in OoT, but the saxophone and electric piano/rock organ instruments only appear in MM.
😮💨😮💨I’d love to hear that one day tbh, I mean narratively majora and kefka are so similar and with both of them combined it would be something beyond chaos🔥🔥
Wisdom… Courage… Power…
What are they? Where do they come from?
With the Tri Force… I shall destroy all…
Just imagining how scary a Ganondorf and Kefka team up would be
You mean replacing that jeweled circlet with something that makes it do as it’s told 😆
Don't give me nightmares my guy
Kefka would try to manipulate Ganondorf and vice versa
I honestly don't think they would get along
Fuck that. Imagine Kefka with Majora's Mask.
Malon singing this depressing song to Epona towards the end.
Kefka (to Ganondorf) : "Why so serious, mammas' boy? "
"You wanna know how I got these sandy boots?"
Gannondorf on organ and Kefka on vocals

I don't believe you did this by ear, but I'm impressed at how good it sounds.

If Final Fantasy and the Legend of Zelda had a crossover.
This sounds so good! All the instruments fit very well, great job!
Surprisingly good, very high quality. This is going to blow up
I hope so
I always bring Locke with me to the final boss battle with the mad clown turned "God".
Nice job, by the way.
I’ve been waiting for this a whole 2 years 😭

like mario 64 soundfont GOOD
If only Square Enix (Squaresoft at the time) could have made Final Fantasy 6 for the N64, I would have found this greatness years earlier.

Nice work, always love to see more dancing mad.

I've heard a little of either of their works and they're very good. That is some serious praise... I wonder if I'll be able to live up to that...
Anyone else expecting the Ganon laugh from Ocarina of Time?
I, uh, made that version too... for MM Rando... but not until one week later ;_; Kinda wish I thought of that first because that would've made the most sense >_
Lost it at Malon
A Majoras mask font would be Insanity👀👀👀
