Hey congrats! Maybe I'll make an insightful comment when they do smell and get lucky. I lost mine at 15 from head trauma. I've forgotten most smells after 20ish years, but I get weird things that trigger "phantom smells" and I immediately recognize a smell just by looking at or thinking about something. Fingers crossed 🤞. Congrats again!
Helen Keller grew up in North Alabama. It’s since been removed, but there used to be a billboard that said “Helen Keller’s Childhood Home. See what she couldn’t!”
I once went to a themed party (first mistake) where you had to wear a color based on your relationship status. Green meant you were single, red was in a relationship and yellow meant "it's complicated". I put on a green shirt, and got to the party and everyone was mad that i was the only person who didn't participate in the theme. That's the day I learned that I was colorblind because apparently the shirt I put on was incredibly gray. Needless to say, I am still single! Love the podcast folks!
Just a general comment that yall reference The Sandlot movie a lot. I love it as well. A little surprised no one has pointed out that you could easily be the grown ups of these characters. Nate- Benny, Brian-Smalls, Aaron- Hambino and Dusty-Squints. Love the pod!
One of the hardest laughs I’ve had on the pod was at Brian’s pronunciation of “poem” in the Poetry episode. I feel like Nate hit the word just as hard when you all were talking about the Iliad and the Odyssey. Thanks for all the laughs gentlemen, God bless!
Its Great how the path of the conversation goes on this podcast. I dont know how you got on where people lived but that turned into a 10 minute conversation on phone numbers. This podcast really is like sitting around with your 25 year old friends kicking it.
When Nate asked Dusty “Do you think you’ll ever go back to material?” I just about lost it. The timing on that was masterful. And Dusty ran with it and kept the bit going. Thank you for these gems every week!
Each week and without ever mentioning it, can we take Aaron’s senior portrait and slowly zoom in closer and closer until it’s just an huge close up picture of his nose?
Last week Dusty poured his drink into his cup without taking off the lid. This week I saw him take off the lid in order to take a drink. Does Dusty know how cups work?
Burden called one of the seven senses "Vestibule" and everyone missed it. Every week he says something sneaky brilliant that gets missed, you can practically set your watch to it.
The chemistry between Nate and Dusty is so incredible!!!! I really enjoy when they are both there! The visual connection of them reacting is priceless!!!❤❤
Probably the hardest I have ever laughed at a podcast episode. From the revelation that Homer was blind to watching Dusty shaking his head every time Aaron mentioned something related to evolution. Also loved the “ouch” story from Bobby Sox. If laughter is good medicine, I’ve got a long life ahead! Thank you all!
Love this podcast, have seen them all and many more than once. Love the dynamics of the foursome, nonsensical chatter and the perspectives in their “ topics”. I just get immense happiness from the giggling! Who laughs more than Aaron? Love hearing his attempt to subdue it silently but it’s off in the background!! Keep up keeping our spirits “ up” gentlemen.
❤❤❤the thing I adore and admire about Nate is his openness and willingness to take in new information totally without judgement. Bless you and the entire crew for keeping it real!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This has to be one of the funniest episodes ever. When Nate mentioned throwing rocks at the kid who can’t feel pain I lost it. People at work wonder why I laugh so much on Wednesdays. Love you guys, keep it going!!
Love yall so much but im begging you bring back the small table! Part of the magic was seeing the facial expressions up close as the podcast goes on. ❤
I’m with Dusty on the Narwal. When I saw it in the movie Elf I thought it was a figment much like the talking snowman. My teenaged daughter had to recently convince me it was a real creature that existed in the wild.
I am a Dyslexic with Synesthesia so I see every sound I hear. You all are so Informative...Hilarious and Adorable that your podcast makes having Synesthesia a true joy!!! Thank you all for being such a positive addition to my life!!!
As a singer-songwriter, I’d like to make a point about Nate’s opinion on sad songs. Those sad songs are written as expressions of what you’re going through and shared with the world for anyone who might relate to the same. I wrote & released a song about the regret I had of not connecting more with my late grandfather.. and I’ve had more messages about that song than any of the others I have released. Sometimes people have to embrace that hurt and sometimes they just want to feel understood. Love ya, boys
Ok, is there any possible chance that the Nateland logo in the background can be hung higher? Why is it so low?? Also, where's the red Nateland print that you used to have on the table? That was a show staple. This table has waaay too much empty acreage. Hey bare table.
When I lived in Arkansas 1989 they still had a party line and you only dialed the LAST 4 digits. They finally got rid of party line a year or so later. Ppl freaked out dialing 7 numbers. I had the number of the old lawn mower repair man. Got calls for him weekly for a year. Love the podcast guys!
Actually “party line” was when calling 1 number rang on multiple lines in an apartment building. Someone would pickup, find out who it was for and just yell out the door/window. “Frank you gotta call!!” Dialing the last four was a local exchange dial. You dial four numbers and a long pause would trigger the system to switch you to that local line.
Recently new listener! Your pod gets me through the week! I listen to it in chunks at night as I fall asleep and it gives me something to look forward to. Can't wait to see you in Moline. My first comedy show ever, no pressure 😂
My proudest moment as a Natelander is convincing an entire bachelor party to go see Dusty at the mothership in September as one of the activities! I’m the only one that’s into the comedy scene so there’s a lot at stake. Mainly just my bragging rights since you already SOLD OUT every show that weekend! Let’s go folks!
In addition to Nateland, I'm working my way through the We're Having a Good Time podcast. I just finished an episode about Dusty's 2021 diet of vegetables and fruit. Now it's 2024 and he's now eating blocks of cheese, loafs of bread, and all the hot chicken in Nashville. #backonmeat #backoneverything
I listen to the Nateland Podcast while I’m sewing. Today I listed to the Senses podcast and when it was finished Episode #90/Conspiracy Theories started playing randomly. I learned so much today, I think. I do know I laughed a lot. I always do! Back to making bowl coozies and other stuff for a craft show. Nate, I hope you (and Holly) liked your Vandy stuff! Thanks all for keeping me entertained all day! #heybear #wearingbells
I’ve listened to every podcast. When the new one comes out I watch it in about 2 days. Once that’s done I go back to episode 1 and continue. I am currently on episode 144 (Nashville). It’s fun because you hear the same things pop up. In episode 144, Aaron says to Dusty (41:00) “you know the conspiracy that Helen Keller isn’t real”. Instances like this happen wayyyy more often then you think!
Love that Aarons evidence for Narwhals existence is from the claymation seen in Elf where Buddy is saying goodbye to Santa, the elves, and a talking snowman... On an unrelated note - The name of the condition of Aaron's friend that was born without a nose = Nobody Nose Love the show!
Hello folks and good morning to Nate, Ballyhoo, Aaron and The Workin Man. Great special Dusty! You make my early morning job fly by b/c I’m laughing so much. When Aaron starts laughing it’s truly contagious! PLEASE have Leanne back too🥰She’s just darling
Some great gems in here this week fellas. “First guy to think with his brain,” is peak Nate. Aaron has a 90 second all star performance including, park a bear, just do it, and Mykanos. What a run. Then Aaron comes back to earth with “my friend was born without a nose on his face.” To which I have to ask, where was it then??
Toronto gal here - I had tickets for the London show that got cancelled. I then got tickets for Ottawa - rain or shine, the show was great! So happy to have been there!
My kids are shouting "we know!" They love narwhals. They also highly recommend Wild Kratts - the best animal show out there. Another awesome episode. I just love you guys.
I went to Dusty’s show at the Improv in Houston!! It’s was great! I was “Having a good time”! So funny! You killed it Dusty! I was at the show that the very front table didn’t show up. They missed out! I’ve seen 3/4ths of the Nateland cast! C’mon Breakfast! Come to Texas!!
Hey Folks! The discussion about spending the night at a friends house, and the questions towards Breakfast and whether he sat up with the parents brought back a memory. At my best friends’ 16th birthday sleepover in 1991, the other girls decided to go TP one of their boyfriends’ houses. I knew that if my mom found out I had gone with them I would be grounded for a really long time, so I spent the evening at her house with her mom watching something on TV. I still talk about that night from time to time and laugh about it. I had the same reaction to Aaron saying “priv-acy” instead of “pri-vacy” as Nate did. I had to laugh when Nate asked why he said it weird. Love the podcast. Listen every week, sometimes more than once just for the laughs.
Usually I don’t laugh out loud during podcasts. The 10 minute mark of this episode had me laughing out loud, as Nate roasted Aaron for verbally reciting how the phone calls to his friend’s house would go. Later on I found myself laughing once again, when Aaron discovered that Homer might have been blind. I had tears running down my face, I was laughing so hard. Maybe this episode was absolute fire, or maybe I’ve gotten to know you all well enough that it feels like you’re my friends and I can laugh along with you now. Either way, thank you and keep up the good work!
I can always count on getting in a good laugh and any episode where Aaron learns something new in the rest of you guys take the role of trying to educate him.
Not that I usually come here to learn animal facts but my 1 year old has a 5 page narwhal book that taught me more. Males have the horns, it's their front left tooth, they live deep in the arctic, they are porpoises.
My sister and I were at the Ottawa show. No real chance of rain was predicted, then of course, torrential downpour during Nate's set. It didn't matter though, he was fantastic and you could tell he appreciated the audience sitting through it for him. Made us love him even more. Also loved the lady behind us who gave us ponchos 😂
Andy Yoder. I’m 51 and I have always thought the Helen Keller thing was far fetched at best. How could someone who couldn’t hear or see…. Since 19 months old… even communicate at all. Much less write 14 books and give speeches? Think about that. You’re gonna throw a couple fingers up and she’s gonna know that’s the sign for the letter B, or hey here’s the sign for hungry…. She can’t see what you’re doing and she can’t hear you explain it. Braille same thing… hey these 3 bumps is the word “the”…she can’t hear you explain what the bumps are, nor know the word the to begin with. It’s really far fetched if you think about it. Absolutely love the podcast. It’s the best one out there!!!!
It was glossed over pretty quickly, but Aaron said that unicorns fly. My daughters were very quick to point out that unicorns don't fly. If a unicorn has wings, it is called an alicorn. This is a glimpse into the world of having only daughters and therefore being surrounded by girls. Thanks for being safe enough to listen to with my girls, but still edgy enough to be my time to hang out with the boys. You guys are my favorite. Thank you!
Nate, Bluetooth, Aaron, and Dusty. Much love from Minnesota. I've listened and re-listened to Nate's description of Debby's reign of terror in Canada and I can't not hear that the London, Ontario show got "cancered". I love the idea of turning cancer into a verb. If/when I get cancer someday I will be telling folks I got cancered.
Hey Bear! Two years ago I got sick in the night and at some point passed out in the bathroom but didn't remember that. I was in bed for two days with a pounding headache and then went to urgent care who sent me to the ER where they determined I had cracked my skull. A few more days passed when I realized I couldn't taste or smell. Apparently the force of the impact on the back of my head severed my olfactory nerve which translates smells into flavor. They say it won't come back but there are cases where it has eventually return so I hold out hope. My tastebuds still work so I know if something is salty, sweet, sour, bitter or spicy but don't know if something is banana or strawberry. If you hold your nose and eat a jellybean then let go of your nose you'll see how it works. Keep up the good work!
Right? How is he that educated and travels the country for comedy and not know about area codes. Doesn't he have to call other places to book or confirm dates? Smh
@@AaronWebercomedy wait a min. I always have u guys playing so I actually came across this again. The convo before and after Breakfast mentioned prefix numbers it was about the area code. So when biscuit asked Nate do u remember when u didn't have to worry about the prefix, u actually thought that at one point u only had to dial 4 numbers out of 7 minus the area code? And that Big Money Bates AND Nate were both old enough to remember such a time?
1:30:00 and Nate drops "poiems" and Bewildered Bates snaps a quick glance and let it slide. You should've gone for the jugular! This episode had me laughing out loud like a maniac as I walked around regular people going about their days. Thank you.
Love the new setup gentlemen! Amazing how far you have come. From not knowing each other too well, to being thick as thieves. Now y'all just like regular family. So grateful for all the laughs. Thanks so much for all the hard work and the special moments!❤
After “Bates Gate” during the Regional Differences episode, Nate explained how when in New York, the comedians used to go in hard on each other and I love how New York Nate has made an appearance on each episode since the move to The new studio. Nates quick witted comments or comebacks have been savage but so funny. Viva New York Nate!
Hello Folks! I learned so much about Homer on the last episode. Who knew that the Father of Ancient Greek literature was actually blind, illiterate, and possibly transcribed his work to friends who copied all this stuff down. Heard he was also opposed to crowd work. On my last cruise the water appeared red but I was looking through wine-colored glasses. Looking forward to Breakfast in Atlanta soon. Reg Griffin
Listening to your high, school songs (during senior year) made me think about my high school song was "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. When the guys asked the girls to dance, it was great because the song was 13 minutes long!
Oh my gosh! My husband was jamming to that song, The Freshman. I am sitting in the front seat of the car while he’s driving and jamming, a bit horrified because I am hearing the lyrics and my very young sons are in the back seat listening to it too. He looks over so confused as to why I could possibly be uncomfortable. I ask him why he likes that sad song, and he just shrugged and said, “it’s got a good vibe.” Too funny that it y’all talk about it this week and have the same exact attitude. I’m with you Aaron!
I’m curious how Nate decided to have Aaron on the podcast if they didn’t know each other very well at the time. (But I’m glad he did. Aaron is great on the pod)
I do telecom work and the first 3 digits of the phone number after the area code tells us what wire center the line is out of. Glad I can finally leave a comment 😆 keep up the good work guys.
In regards to the NASA talk at ~ 50:00 and on. NASA subcontracts 2 private companies for spacecraft: Boeing & SpaceX. Boeing has the Starliner and SpaceX has the Dragon. To date, SpaceX has had 13 successful missions to the ISS and back, with Dragon. By comparison, Boeing Starliner has had one mission, and the crew have to be rescued. Also, SpaceX did this at nearly half the cost of Boeing. SpaceX is ahead of everyone, not just Boeing,
I remember narwhals from my childhood (born in 1976). There is an animated movie from 1982 called The Last Unicorn, and (spoiler alert) the unicorn all turn into narwhals.
Loved hearing synesthesia get brought up. Every color has a frequency and that’s why being in painted rooms with different colors affect our mood so much. Also it’s why “white noise” exists in a sound machine. It’s a frequency. Didn’t learn this in college just in life picking paint colors
My piano teacher would often talk about specific keys having colors to them (C major and as blue, E flat was orange, ect). I understood on one level what she saying but never had the experience of “hearing colors”.
I’ve had glasses since the 2nd grade although I refused to wear them until 3rd grade. When I did my batting average went way up and I remember my coach saying he wished he knew I was blind way sooner.
When Nate told Dusty he looks like a guy who likes gutter work there was a pregnant pause. It was looking like we might be headed toward an awkward moment. Then Dusty just replies “You ever clean a gutter!?” Nate was spot on. No awkwardness at all! Love these guys.
Hello folks and hey bear. Long time listener and fan but first time commenter. In regards to the smell\taste argument. I think it would be good to point out that if you lose your sense of smell, its 80 to 90% of your ability to taste that you lose with it. Sort of a big deal with those proportions. If you've ever had a cold so bad that your nose was so stuffed up that you couldn't taste anything, you should already know what that's like and that's the reason why. Nicolas Depont
Dusty brought me here✋🏼. Vestibule has nothing to do with a sense. The correct vernacular is vestibular ‘system’ which provides balance. As someone with Ménière’s disease (a bad vestibular system) I know these terms. Now we’re having a good time! Awesome show fella’s!
I just went to see Sebastian Maniscalco, literally at the intuit (new Stadium) In LA, My wife and I have seen Nate in housand Oaks before and it was great. How do y'all prepare for for such a big show? How is Aaron prepare? So far from us? His fans?
Hello Folks! The guys sure do get after ol’ Buttermilk Biscuits and have a good time, but for my money, they’re all playing for second place compared to the zings ol’ BreadBasket drops on himself. Ol’ Bountiful Bucket Bringing Beautiful Bangers is the king of ‘You can’t make fun of me better than I can”. Game recognizes game.
I have a playlist of all the saddest songs that are time capsules of the hard, sad times in my life. I sometimes listen to it cause they are good songs and I made it through all those times. The playlist is called, "Tell Her We're Okay" - like a note to myself to remember it always works itself out to be okay, so now in the thick of it, I am okay.
I had my comment read in a Nate Land episode. I now know what it's like to live a fulfilled life. Nobody tell my wife or kids I said that.
Congrats man!

It didn't matter though, he was fantastic and you could tell he appreciated the audience sitting through it for him. Made us love him even more. Also loved the lady behind us who gave us ponchos 😂
This is your best episode!!!! Watched all- perfect messing around!
I think Narwhals were created by Will Ferrell for the movie Elf. Now that’s a conspiracy theory for Dusty to start! Love the pod! -Dale
You all are getting the synergy . Perfect! You guys are rocking!!! Ha! Talking about smell ….smelll… hilarious!!
I can picture Nate pulling up to a red light blasting the most sad songs and just bobbing his head smiling like a psycho makes me laugh
Aaron with phone numbers & area codes is mind blowing.
An idiot savant
Right? How is he that educated and travels the country for comedy and not know about area codes. Doesn't he have to call other places to book or confirm dates? Smh
obviously i know about area codes. i was talking about the first 3 digits in a 7 digit phone number
@@AaronWebercomedy I'm not gonna lie. I'm just happy u responded to that. Also, thanks for clearing that up cause I was like "what?" Lol
Thank you.
I've noticed Nate says "prodcast" quite often. I thought maybe I was imagining it since nobody else in the crew mentioned it.
@6:40 Dusty....how did you not get this joke?!?! I busted out laughing in sync with Aaron!🤣🤣
Hello folks!! This is the only podcast i listen to that i don't skip the ad reads, however have not yet ordered anything they advertise 🤗
Love the new setup gentlemen! Amazing how far you have come. From not knowing each other too well, to being thick as thieves. Now y'all just like regular family. So grateful for all the laughs. Thanks so much for all the hard work and the special moments!❤
After “Bates Gate” during the Regional Differences episode, Nate explained how when in New York, the comedians used to go in hard on each other and I love how New York Nate has made an appearance on each episode since the move to
The new studio.

Nate- 17:48 "The only human on Earth that can think with his brain, and make stuff move." The rest of us can only imagine what that must be like!
"Those are just books" made me laugh so hard.
One of the best episodes to date! 😂 animal talks win again.
I’m with you Aaron!
this is the third week ive watched this show. I thought it would be too long, now i wish it was longer!
Loved the episode especially once you guys started having a good time. Fun topic that made the group thrive. Sorry I’m just talking out of my…
Was anyone else excited to hear Nate’s reaction to the fact that the narwhal’s horn is actually a tooth?
Aaron: “That’s not fair.” 💀
It was kind of glossed over, but Sports Night was such a fantastic show.
SpaceX is ahead of everyone, not just Boeing,
Totally agree, with Dusty - you never look up what the songs about!
Throwing copper is a great album. Let’s go Dusty!!!🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽
When Nate told Dusty he looks like a guy who likes gutter work there was a pregnant pause. It was looking like we might be headed toward an awkward moment. Then Dusty just replies “You ever clean a gutter!?” Nate was spot on. No awkwardness at all! Love these guys.
Shout out to the kid who brings the "10 million box" of Crayolas on the first day of school

22:56 - 23:15 the case of the disappearing donut boxes
Love this podcast!!!! Great work guys!
lol these guys can make just about any subject funny .
Breakfast was extra funny this week!
I just went to see Sebastian Maniscalco, literally at the intuit (new Stadium) In LA, My wife and I have seen Nate in housand Oaks before and it was great. How do y'all prepare for for such a big show? How is Aaron prepare? So far from us? His fans?
I saw you in Halifax, Nate! Amazing time! Please come again!
When dusty said “willy nilly” I legit shot coffee out my nose
