    Followed the recipe almost completely except for replacing the wheat starch with tapioca flour for both the custard and snow skin wrap. It was very easy to work with for every step and the result is fantastic! Husband loves it and said he will devour all the mooncakes! Thank you so much for teaching us how to make the moon cakes here!

      Thanks for the tip about replacing Wheat starch with tapioca flour - both are very hard to obtain in Switzerland, but more so Wheat starch 😛Will try this for the first time minus the strawberry/redness tho.

    Thank you so much for this recipe. I've made it twice and it's super accurate and delicate. I've used corn startch instead of wheat and it worked just fine too, in case anyone wondered.❤

    So delish! I was thinking of trying it with a chai spice mix and a pumpkin spice mix added into the snow skin. I'll let you know how it turns out. Not a fan of the green tea powder, but I think I put too much in.

      So, I tried it and I'd say the chai spice mix was just okay, but I think if I changed up the mix it would be tasty. The pumpkin spice mix was my favorite. I didn't put too much, so it was subtle. I'd highly recommend it. I just used an off-the-shelf pumpkin spice mix and added it in to the snow skin. Yum!

    This is so simple to make and surely delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipe. However, I do not see you are using the corn oil. When do you pour it? Also, the last extra glutinous flour is not in the recipe. The pastel colors remind me of Easter. So pretty 👍👏🏼

      I think the glutinous rice flour can't be substituted in this recipe, because the glutinous rice flour makes the moon cake skin soft and glutinous and slightly transparent.

      Salut, merci beaucoup d'être venu sur ma chaîne ! Vous pouvez utiliser du tapioca ou de la fécule de maïs à la place de l'amidon de blé. La farine de riz peut être utilisée après broyage avec du riz.😊
