    Did this twice, it was good. But second time I but put oyster sauce to the marinade and also sautéed fresh garlic, ginger and red chill. It was delicious 😍

    Just made it and it was great! I even skipped adding a very few ingredients that I did not have at home but still tasted amazing.

      @@NubianP6 you're right she didn't. I think I automatically assumed because she uses oyster sauce very often. I guess Lo Mein just doesn't call for it. Her Chow Mein recipe has oyster sauce though.
      This recipe is still amazing the way it is btw.

    With a dash of hot sauce and honey (in place of sugar) that's my meal on far too many occasions during the week... And if really want to shake it up a frozen bag of coles stir fry mix for that special feelin' :)

      @@alexanderpierce8216 I know this is old, but check the recipe on her website. She usually gives you a substitute. I think it might be chicken stock.

    Sadly we don't have soy sauce in our region I might travel to America or an Asian country just to make this dish because its really delicious ive tasted it in China

      What country are you from? There are Asian shops in almost every country. I'm from Switzerland and I can find every ingredient in those shops.

    Use Lee Kum Kee premium oyster sauce. All others are just above ground pool pee!

    This is chow mien, not lo mien. You don’t stir fry with lo mien method but rather, mix the sauce/seasoning with stove off 😅

      Low main swim in sauce with less time, low heat.
      Chow main stir fry even soy sauce is mostly dried, more time, high heat.

    How are people making this with no measurements or direction?! This is the worst recipe I've ever tried to follow. It has been so stressful. I wish I had looked at the article a little bit more before rushing off for ingredients. Lesson learned.

      Seriously.... wow. People are probably able to make it before they check the description?? Before criticizing do it as well.
      This woman does just a GREAT job with her recipe articles, there's no need for the extra work of writing on the videos. This RUclips channel is only to post the videos on her website, not to make money out of the videos, she's not a RUclipsr.
      Many videos like these have the recipes or the links on their description anyway. Is it so hard to read? Especially if you're gonna write a comment like that.
      I hope now you've learned the lesson. ;)

    Stay away from the "GRAVY, TASTE LIKE KFC" video. I made it and it taste like something I did in the toilet. Did she just copy the same recipes that are running rampant though RUclips and pawn it off as her own or did she really take the time to cook and taste this gravy? I personally would like to see her cook the gravy and taste it directly from the pot using a large tablespoon. I will give her a second chance and cook another recipe to see if the first was a fluke. Wish me luck and say a prayer for my and my families taste buds.
