Of all the shops shown, I think had I been shopping for things to bring home, it would be Taylor of Old Bond Street.
Not only did their shop look like its saying "Welcome customers!" by your accounts they seem to be the most accommodating, which reflects on both their service and pride of what they sell.
Unlike a certain shop that when customers complain about its soap not lathering and dissipating in mere seconds, get sent an "instructional" on how to lather with a brush.
Brilliant! Comment of the day. 😀

I love using Taylor of Old Bond Street have been using Shaving Cream since 2021. My dad has been using Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender forever!
Thank you so much for bringing us along for this adventure... I've always wanted to see how DR Harris looked inside and Taylor of old Bond.
amazing all these old stores from london, so beautiful and so nice , also what a huge amount of soaps , brushes etc and all with amazing quality.

That was an awesome video. Reminds me that I missed a couple of those shops, but stayed in that specific Floris boutique for quite a while sampling their products.

Thanks for the video, I visited many of the same shops years ago. I've always wondered why we didn't have similar ones in the United States. We can get a razor anywhere, but hardly anything to make shaving more than a chore and a necessary evil. Oh, well, a few hundred more years and we might have long enough to develop"old world" traditions.

@@kevyshaves4109 I couldn't believe it! and the only one open breaks my skin out so I bought my mate something. At 5:15 in your video there is a couple of shaving shops in the arcade you quickly turn and look at, lower end stuff like arko; and floid etc
Yes, I've been in there before. That's why I kinda turned the camera that way. I just didn't have time to film them all. I wanted to show the well known ones. Wasn't sure if I would make it up to the Muhle shop even but it's not that far from where I was. Kevy 👍

You walked past Czech and Speake too. Not quite as old as some of the others but their fragrances are of incredibly high quality. I haven't tried their shaving soaps yet but if they're anything like as good as the fragrances they'll be worth it
Taylor of oldbond street is me favourite shop but I went to Scotland in the summer to ride the nc500 and I stopped at the groom room in Scotland and told the man I had see the shop on RUclips and he new you and he even give me some blades thanks for the video m8

didnt even occur to me to visit these places last time i was in london, may have to fill up the suitcase next time im there. truefitt & hill 1805 is my favourite shaving scent ever.

Really nice, a wet shavers heaven. After the pandemic is over you should do one like this in other countries. Where most of the shaving products come from, i.e. Italy, Turkey, India, Japan, Russia and Germany.
I don't recall ever hearing of Truefitt and Hill before. After this, and seeing the "God Is My Help" posted; then I'm going to look for them online.

very nice video , all these stores with very old furniture, amazing , also all the products perfect and beautiful presentation, we need some stores like that in Mexico , but Mexicans are not wet shavers , they use match 3 and Gillette shaving foam

His club was in a different location back then but it was great to visit. I didn't see him but I have seen him when he visited the UK a couple of times. Good evening Kevy! Thank you for doing the London Shave Shop video. This is great stuff. I might just get a chance to tour these and do a bit of replenishment. I am particularly fond of the TOBS Sandalwood Talc. How did the Royal Forest aftershave smell?

Nice walk through and it's great to see up close. My only regret was Czech and Speake moving, so I didn't have time to go there.

Thanks for the very informative video. Amazing shops. I wonder if any professional videographers can offer tips on filming these types of footage? Maybe not pan around so quickly or stay focused on a wide angle for a bit so it's not always shifting views so quickly?
I agree. I was in a rush to film as much as I could but looking back on the footage, it would've been better to focus on certain items then pan the camera back to a wider shot. Cheers. Kevy 👍

I only bought a couple of things from TOBS. To be honest, the shop they didn't let me film in isn't as good as their main shop in Curzon Street. Kevy 👍
