Thanks to everybody who pointed out the audio issue in the first version of this! It was weird all this time doing RUclips never had an issue where it wasn't in the editing, something just got scrambled when rendering so when I went to the actual file I heard it there. The Confederacy had some of the most terrifying battle droids in the Star Wars Universe and perhaps some of the most advanced in their creations and usage, and it is a shame that the majority of them were destroyed after the Clone Wars.

Their design for their propose is absolutely perfect, there is literally nothing you can really change to make it any better

@@LoneWolf20213Spiders have 8 legs. 6 would let the octuptarra lose a few without toppling over. 4 would help, but losing just 1 would make it unstable enough to be pushed over.

Im guessing a reupload to fix that audio issue. But I'll say it again, i wouldn't be surprised if the CIS made a turbo laser variant had the war gone on longer. Seems like the natual progression to take on the Acclimator to keep the assault force from even landing

I used to complain how LEGO did wrong with the droid in the Utapau/212th battle pack, how it was small and they didn't make a new one, but now I see that there were 2 different versions and that one was the combat version, which I never noticed the difference other than in color now, thanks to you

I'm sorry but you forgot the best part and my favorite part...
the noises it makes.
If you played the empires at war mod about the republic at war when you give move and attack orders it gives screeches pulsing sounds... turns them from normal droid sounds and makes them like war of the worlds.
Its bone chilling it hear the clanking of the steps and the sounds of its calls to a point i actually planned to use it as a horror scenario in a Star Wars DnD campaign.
it would take a while for them to actually face it but over time you will hear quiet clanking of the steppes, then once it moves into view it screeches as it dominates over you with its size.
it fires its blasts causing rubble and shockwaves.
Since its late in the age of the empire then it would be centuries old, its scrapping and grinding noises as moss hangs off of it as it's been long since abandoned following a programmed patrol route.
Its honestly amazing.
A horror version of the Octuptarra sounds cold, ngl. I've been thinking about doing the same myself in an episode of an Arc for a crossover anime I got planned.
Basically, the story of this Arc is that the CIS, the Trade Federation and the Techno Union, are planning to use the Pridelands (Lion King) as a spot to spread more of their Droid Factories as well as forcing the many Animals into slavery for carrying cargo and other forms of animal abuse. Simba, Nala, and co. don't like it of course, but luckily get a message from Anakin and Padme who received this news and decided to have a Clone Base be built next to the Pride Rock that stores Veichles, Supplies, and Weaponry, along with Clone Troopers who will reside there and also being promised to command a new legion that will be assigned to protect the Pridelands. They agree, the a good portion of the 501st, 104th, 41st, and 193rd Swahili Division (the new Leigon) are now located to the base along with Captain Rex and his men, the Bad Batch, and Delta Squad. Later on, Megaman and co., Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow arrive, then the heroes find out about a Separatist Refinery that hides Battle Plans for a new weapon to destroy all of the Pridelands is located in the Sheep & Wolves universe (I know, the movie is kind of cringe and boring, but rest assured, it will be fixed with anime magic or whatever), blah blah blah.
There's one episode I had in mind where the heroes are up against another variant of the Octuptarra, known as the "Mother Octuptarra." A much larger Tri Droid that exceeds the height of the Magna Varriants that hides metal eggs, housing up to 3 Combat Tri Droids and has a tough weapons depo, consisting on Hailfire Missiles, point-blank Blaster Cannons, toxic gas that can spread in a 10 mile radius which slowly kills you once breathed, and red headlight eyes that shine bright to search for enemies and intimidate them. It can speak in binary in a scary way, causing enemies to become afraid of it and to lead them in panic.
I had a magna octuptarra droid toy when I was younger, I remember it had a hatch on the top and the head was Hollow so I always assumed it was a tank, rather than a droid

I own the Wal-Mart exclusive Octuptarra tri droid. It's honestly not that big of a vehicle, and can fit on my shelf quite nice.
I would kill to have one of these in 1/12 scale for my Black Series collection.
The movie clips show the Octodroids having 4 limbs but clone wars and the artwork clips you are showing us, they only have 3? Are they different models? Also, could they only fire 1 shot at a time?

Having 3 fixed guns rotating with the entire "head" of the droid seems so inefficient.
You'd be better off by putting 3 turrets on a tank with tracks or hovering tanks.
Also having to rotate the entire turret for each shot is atrocious.

Because they are horrible quality, hurt channel growth and wanted to take them down, but a tiny minority said they wanted to see them, so putting in membership removes the negative effect on the algorithm and still gives people a way to see them
