HOA? Mello roos? In California for newly constructed homes they have extra taxes for county, school district or state.
No idea what a mello roos is. Hoa is $165/year in this community. California taxes everything. The tax rate in this community is 2.91%
Mello roos in California is the extra property tax to get back road project school district improvement etc. It has a life span of maybe 5,20,15,20 ,,-50 years. HOA is a lifetime and it will go up in a heartbeat
