You guys are so hilarious.....i want so much to come and hang out with you. It would make my day.....month....year!!!! But alas......I am an ole lady who got too old....too fast ....and now here i am watching two cute, funny guys hang out. You could be cleaning out the shed or baking a cake .....makes no difference to me. I will still watch and laugh....which is so good for my soul and body!!!!!!! Before we got a new puppy we were feeding badgers on our patio just outside the doors. We used to get the badgers, foxes and occasionally field mice. Now we’ve got Rosie she won’t even let birds land in the garden lol

You've brought in a ringer! I've seen those chickens go down that runway before. Colin, you need a pair of wool long-johns to fit under that environmental hazard suit - go for the red ones. Cheers!

I have used chicken wire fencing in my garden. Where it contacts the ground it rusts and falls apart with in 2 or 3 years or so. (Hardware cloth would have been a better choice but more costly.) So check it every couple of years or so and replace as necessary. The chicken wire may be galvanized (zinc coated) but that does not prevent the problem, just makes it take longer.

Never met a Badger I didn't like!! Although I do like skunks better. Had a pet one named Petunia I had for 5 yrs. Can't wait to see the progress on your train barn!! Springs just around the corner!! Take care you 2!!

That sure is pretty scenery where you live. The snow scenes are gorgeous. I am from the states, the area I used to live in got lots of snow. I now live in New Zealand, it's still strange having Sumner during what I call the winter months. I love the name "Blaire" for the badger, she's cute. Enjoy your day, good job in starting to clean out the future train barn.

Poor chickens, sitting in their run while various vicious predators try and get to them. Aaaaaagggggghhhhhh😮. Good thing you’ve dug down with the wire, I watched a documentary about a badger they notorious could not keep penned up. No matter what they did it got free, very smart animal. It would be cool if Blaire has babies🥰🙋🏼♀️
They’ve roamed free for over a year. Nothing is trying to get them 🤣
Why not leave some of the outtakes in? It would save you a lot of time and no one would mind.

Nice idea for predator prevention... may I suggest that you Flailthe bottom 12 to 24 inch outward so any possible "predator " will begin digging against itself.
I say this as I am a wildlife control officer and deal with similar situations officer often. No offense to you but my experience shows if a animal is determined.. it will eventually get passed your hard work. Respectfully Robert MacDonald Wildlife control service Canada 🇨🇦
