I became addicted to these Zatoichi episodes several years ago and I think I've seen hundreds by now. I remember this one but I believe it was in black and white when I saw it last. I love the character he plays traveling around almost aimlessly and encountering danger at every corner. His compassion for children and innocent women is obvious. These are the best movies I've ever watched.
Zatoichi is a fascinating character, shy and funny, but a killing machine when need be. This is one of the best chambara tv series ever. Shintarô Katsu is fantastic in the role. Thank you so much for the upload.

Only the first and second film had been recorded in black-and-white colour. All other films and TV series are in colour.
