@@Basicfeather Yes i have been following all the videos uploaded, I like playing front court in doubles but hard push, soft push, drop at net is little confusing especially for points at around (17th-21st). Need clarity or tips to break that pattern!

@@girishkumarg4281 it could be a mental thing! Forget about the scores.. Remember what got you to 17-18-19-20-21 points.. You don't always need to change things.

Is it because your late forehand shot is too high towards the net?

@@Basicfeather Mabye yeah but it's close the the net tape but the opponents always just keep their rackets on the net
And if I tell them it's a fault they say what do you know and my partner is a bit weak too he takes time to process and they just touch that's why I always lose even if I gave my 200%

slapping the shuttle using your forehand would be a last resort hail mary type of shot. effectiveness in this situation depends mainly on one thing: how pre-loaded are your dominant quads? if they are pre-loaded adequately you may be able to explosively jump back and turn your body and intercept the shuttle while high in the air jumping backwards finishing with your dominant leg forwards. this is something we learned from lcw, who understood intuitively the hypotenuse was shorter than the sum of the legs of a triangle, and this is what you should practice. next best reply would be late forehand, and like i said last resort would be that floppy forehand slap that looks kinda like a cricket swing, though i admit knowing nuthin about cricket. in badminton, which type of reply you are going to be able to do depends less on the quality of the attacking clear and more on how deep into your legs you are

Thanks a lot for taking the time for the comment. The beauty with this sport is sometimes things isn't right or wrong. We all find our own style and that's what we love with this.
Our videos are guides, tutorials, but definitely not the only way of doing so 🙂

I have seen beginners do some creative things when the shuttle gets behind them. They get stuck with the shuttle in back and at their midline and somehow generate enough straight arm swing and hand snap to get out of trouble with a deep shot. Not ideal but they have come up with something. Of course the goal is to keep the shuttle in front or at our side to effectively use the racket. Victor Axelson beat Lin Dan's attacking clears in a world final but cutting them off early, but very few players can do that. Thanks for posting the video and conversation.
