Great vid! My suggestion would be to first show the correct movement so we know what it is. Then show what's wrong after, so we know the mistakes to avoid. Showing correct first, mistakes after means we first have the correct movements in our head. Then seeing the mistakes after will reinforce our mental image of what the correct movement is. Cheers!
I am proud to say i play exactly like your demonstration except it is your how not to do it😂. Joking aside i have watched many videos on footwork but this is the only video i have seen so far that addresses my mistakes accurately. Thank you!
Best footwork explanations on youtube for these five movements. All of of the points made are also applicable to almost any other movement in badminton, really good! Thanks for this, really great work
It is very useful, even I am confident with my footwork as well as techniques but this tutorial still valuable for me to check whether i was really use the footwork correctly and efficiently or not. Thank u
Thx sir... it was a wonderfull tips that you had given... thx a lot sir🙏🙏I hope that this will help me a lot... to improve my skills... And hope that you are good at there... Thx sir....And I am from India🙏🙏💞
this is a good tutorial. it would have been helpful if you showed recovery from the lunge, as this usually does involve sliding the toe from the back toward the dominant leg until your weight is shifted back just enough that you can easily push off of the dominant leg. timing and nuance is critical here and maybe worth showing
Hello this is actually a great video although i do have a problem where when the game is too fast paced and i just end up running all over the court and forget the footwork and i end up losing. Should I just keep practicing my footwork or is there another thing i can do to overcome this problem?
I am a singles player. I am an intermediate level player and have good footwork. I love attacking in singles, so I am looking for an attacking racket which is not only for attacking but also can be used for drives and defense. I have heard that the Astrox 77 is the best racket for my category which is not too expensive and performs well
I loved the vid! I've been training for almost 2 years but somehow I can't seem to hit shots precisely, every time I perform the footwork correctly I can't seem to hit the shuttle sometimes.... especially the back court I can't hit the smashes correctly...
How about if the opponent hits a sharp drop shot near the forehand side of the net, and the shuffle step can't produce enough distance. We need to move our non-dominant foot across our dominant foot instead of the shuffle move, then lunge?
Thank you sir ..I am badminton player 50 years old ..hard to do scissor jump smash as you shown ...need your advice how to exercise in order to be easier for scissor jump ..
My joints(i think) or bones in my wrist hurts, is that normal? I played like approximately 10 hours straight if i total the hours i played in 2 weeks. If so what can I do to cure it?
@@BadmintonFamly oh okay, thank you! I've been doing the tips I saw from your vid and it helped me too. Specially the footwork, really appreciate it, Thank you and great job!
Sir plese make a video for the forehand clear when we get stuck to the other corner of the court Sir it is my request make sure that you make a vedio far th same Please 🙏

Thanks for the feedback 💯
Do they even need to show the wrong footwork?
@@jonostagg839 my guess is they aim to show people common mistakes so they can catch themselves and others

I think the 77 is a very light racket, I would go for the 99 or the 100ZX as I uses 😄
