- The off-season brings lots of different emotions and thoughts. Do we continue? Do we step away from public life? Do we keep doing what worked in the past?
Do we push forward and blaze new trails?

Great video. It’s important these messages are told because it’s easy to take for granted a 10-15 minute on RUclips but those videos require a creative mind and a lot of effort to produce. Breaks are important to clear the mind and keep the creative juices going, particularly when the drama outweighs the fun. Keep it up, everybody is waiting to see what you put out in 2024!
Thanks Kyle, through youtube, you have became a great friend! It's very true that the amount of work almost everyone in the youtube environment puts in doesn't get taken at face value. But we love the videos we produce and to be able and look back on those memories is priceless! Appreciate all you do for us and the sport!

I trapped leeches for a summer around Sioux narrows and Nestor falls. A bridge too far! Hope to fish there again someday.

Thanks for the support! Stick with it, build a routine on editting vs filming and don't get caught up in the vanity metrics over the first year or two.

Great video Glenn. I’m grateful for the update and understand it isn’t all that easy to keep active putting content out there, for reasons shown and explained. I understand it 100%. It takes a lot of work to create these videos. I would rather watching fewer videos that have high quality content. I love the 54 or Bust approach! Keep on going, just stay the same! Thanks Dirk, appreciate that! We are just weekend anglers, who put in a lot of hours. We just don't have enough time on the water to have the amount of content of say a Doug Wegner. We'll keep doing what we do and how that everyone enjoys it and gets value from it!

From finding your channel to helping my wife and I with our quest to catch a musky. To meeting you in person. You, your family, and the 54 or Bust community have always been amazing. There is a lot that comes when anyone puts their self out there on the internet. I believe and strongly guess that others feel the same way that you’re doing it right. Keep it down to earth, informative, and not a show about “see how great me or the channel is “. Negativity unfortunately will always be a part of it. A recharge break is totally needed. I hope you never have to feel that this is a chore but only a passion!!!
If I were rich or could sponsor 54 or Bust more I would. With the wife’s approval of course lol. I can’t wait to see what you guys have in store for us in the future. And know we will support it🤘

You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. Too bad about that particular negative reaction to the draw, but sounds like you have the right attitude about it! And I don’t think some of those baits were baits - looks like the girls raided a couple of cheerleading squads for their pompoms! (HUGE!!) thanks for the update Glenn!
It's always good to feel like your a target, that means we've had some success. It does it home at times, we try hard to keep it real, but you're right, we're not for everyone.
The girls are loving the chance to be a bigger part of our channel. After all this is about way not than just me!
