- Now this is a proper winter expedition! Eight days of skiing and camping in Sarek National Park.
Sarek, a World Heritage Site in northern Sweden, is often called one of the world’s last true wildernesses. No mountain huts, no marked trails, volatile weather conditions. Just mountains, glaciers, and wildlife, it’s absolutely stunning.
Tag along for a fun but arduous journey narrated by Rob McNamee!

Nice. Looks like Fun Category 3. Had the opportunity to cross Sarek in winter some years ago. Great experience.
It's probably an easier ski, but harsher weather (Canadian Arctic biome extends well below geographic Arctic), try akshayuk pass.
Awesome! Who were the outfitters that snowmobiled you to the start point?
KERON 4GT... ROCKS !!!!
Yeah, love the Keron! we had an older keron 3GT from late 80s /early 90s. It worked fine but ripped a bit in the strong winds on the final night.
Dude I’ve seen a lot of videos on these type of treks and that was the deepest snow I’ve seen anyone trail break. That’s tough. I’m glad I clicked on, usually I can’t understand what’s being said in other videos, your English is better than mine. Badass trip.
Ah thanks! Yeah it was a tough day for sure
Where is the blåbärssoppa? Haha
Very nice video, cool cinematics!
I might join the dog bollocks expedition part 2 😁
Dieter! you definitely should. We are heading to a new area we've never been to for this one. It's an old virgin forest that is pretty much impossible to reach in the summers. four nights winter camping
