I know this is an older video but I just wanted to thank you for the feedback. There’s a kit available with all of the “stand up” stuff from venom I’ll need to start taking classes (complete beginner). This review made my mind up that this is the way I’ll go, thank you for making it!

Like you said, one problem with the Venum gloves is the molds are all very similar. The material changes and maybe the padding but the gloves look the same. They can do more with the molds I think. Make each line more unique.

I just got my first pair of legacy gloves that are similar to these for $40 these look like the perfect starter gloves !!
I like these gloves for the flexibility and the fist feel , i dont like the inside liner , its too loose after breaking in it gets better because the liner goes in the hooks and crannys but because of that i give them a 7 out of 10 , i use them for sparring because there really flexible and feel light

I'm so glad you finally reviewed this pair! Thanks a lot for this review. I have a pair of the Elites at 14 Oz, and I do find them a little roomier than I wanted in the hand compartment, and the wrist doesn't wrap perfectly, leaving some room there too. I feel like the gloves are a little too loose and don't feel quite right..
Do you have any recommendations for any snugger fitting gloves (especially around the wrist) around the same price range?

I have these and find that my hand moves around too much..I have about 8.5 inches measuring from the side of my index finger to side of pinky. Do you think I should go with fairtex BGV1's for a tighter fit? Maybe the BGV6 :)

Hey thanks for the great review! I ordered these a few days ago but the padding on the palm feels like it sits too high, is it supposed to be on the heel of the hand or in the middle of the palm? My association only lets us spar with 10oz so I am wondering if they are too small and that is why the padding feels high.

How do you know if you should get 14 or 12 oz? For a beginning Boxer
Bit late but beginners always 14-16oz. 16s are more preferable because they’re forgiving on sparring partners but 14s are usually alright as well.
Are Venum Contenders on sale for $21 better than the Impacts for an “old man” (50 yrs) beginner for just hitting a heavy bag for exercise?
Impacts are better, a little more expensive but worth it

Hey Carlo, would you be interested in doing a video about a good diet for boxing? My wife and I are starting to get back into training after about 5 years away and we were hoping you could offer some diet advice? Either way, Merry Christmas and I hope you have a fantastic new year.
Maybe sometime in the future, my diet currently sucks so I wouldnt be the best to give advice. For me its always been less calories in, more calories out. Eat for color and eat anything you want, just moderate.

Tried the Elite 2.0 today...Your old elite looks a lot better. Hated it. Bought this just for punching bag and solo technical training. Wrist adjusting is awfull. Easy for beginners hurt somethin' with it.

Ordered mine and came in a week. These are their stock colors though, customs probably take a while

12 oz Society Nine Bia gloves. They make gloves specifically to fit female fighters. My coach uses these gloves and likes them.
