How benevolent can the gods be. If they need the prattle of mortals. To justify their being.
Believing That there exist no salvation. Unless their Divinity intervenes. And that Only salvation through belief in them.
As well as blind faith given away devoutly. Will satiate earthly needs. Keeping the fear within believers.
To cleave unto those to which they pray and plead. As earthbound preachers scream. “These are the words of the almighty.
For the Heavenly Father inhabits the rocks that line the mortal seas. And that those who refuse to worship, will crash against them. Because they dared not believe. That a new world shall come to be. As the old one passes.”
Their God guaranties. For the world shall burn in fire and blood. Smoldering till its all but debris. Bringing the purity of oblivion. To a world that should have lived on its knees.
And from the ashes of this world. God will build a better one. But Those who see logic, try to speak sense. However a zealots beliefs they’d dare not leave. For who cares about their petty judgments. They strain from brains to meager.
To comprehend their Gods reality. And resistance only delays the inevitable. For a belief that is eternal. Can never be defeated. Not by Human beings for they’re a species with great power. Yet they detest that they owe their existence.
To those they’d see as beasts. For evolution is remarkable. And is proven to be.
As far beyond Gods. As people wish Gods were beyond human beings.

Other than missing a few powers like size alteration, which they did when he was fighting professor x in his head which was fucking awesome, how was it bad? Or even different? That was easily the best of the X-Men movies by Fox by far and it was thanks to apocalypse and I got to be honest I re-watched the damn thank you for letting me in speech over and over again all the freaking time it's probably the greatest thing to ever happen in film history. Freaking jerk off to that shit. I mean I get it, the dude is literally God and he should just go to 10,000 ft tall and start stomping on everybody. But they can't do that because everything would be pretty pointless at that point. I mean at the end of the day the good guys have to win that's just the way it's written every time. Doesn't really matter to me though I'm still going to root for the bad guy no matter what. I mean come on man when he showed up to get magneto and he just dropped everybody through the damn floor, God I wish I could do that

@@edntz It's easily stronger than either of those but on top of that, it was retrofitted with technology that doesn't exist yet, and I mean in Cable's era. Specifically tech that disrupts & damages Apocalypse. Yes his big gun can hurt Apocalypse, though not a lot.

@@Archedgar Where is the evidence that cable's gun is stronger than cyclops optic blast? Cyclops can destroy an entire mountain with his optic blasts. I never seen that type of output from cable's weapon.

Apocalypse and his vocabulary is the best, the way he has the epiphany in the middle of the fight, just brilliant.
