Great reaction. I see it like this at the end of the day it's top vs bottom. Tom has always pointed that out. I will say when it comes to the social cultural climate. When the Left has to much power. Then the Right becomes a needed counter part. And vice versa. But regardless of what Value system is dominant no interest group should control are voices. The Right and Left will always have some Vaules and ethics that are always in dispute. But Common sense should prevail. You got the extreme left post modernist s and neo Marxist types. And the extreme right fascist theocrats and other factions. I reject both. We need Structure and safety. But also Freedom and liberty.

I love your take on this! I found it troubling when Tom posted a promo for the video asking, "Who won?" and people were still hard picking a side. Always appreciate your videos.
@8:40-ish - "fighting against their own best interests" - just that phrase indicates something, because who is anyone to dictate what is actually in MY "best interest"? Example: Labor Unions, which is what I began thinking about in your commentary about factory workers. I do not ever want to belong to a union, which is one reason why I always work for a family owned business and not a larger corporation. A lot of people would say that position is "against my best interest", I do not think that is true. So anyone saying to me that I am "fighting (or voting) against my best interest" is across a line, because they don't get to tell me what MY best interest is.
