Lots of more detailed videos with break down for each dyno posted. I hope this info will help your questions and concerns. Cheers
I can't believe you didn't choose your exhaust? How much power and torque did you gain from your exhaust? I know it was a custom, but what parts were used and it's a 2.5" setup correct?
You are right, but, same like the oem air box, I was still able to get 350 WHP on a Mustang dyno, so the air box and water tank size exhaust does flow. I still did not got a chance to test the new improved exhaust, but I will, track opens in two weeks. But your right, just in weight savings and sound, the axle exhaust could be on the list. I guess, I should have made a top 6 list. But I assume everybody does the cat back
@@twinforce_fusion6560 what mufflers did you use? It has an x pipe too correct?
@@dbsimms63 magnaflow smooth transition pipe (X).and Flowkaster HP-2 shorties 2.5" laminar flow mufflers on the MRT
Great video, and thanks for the shout out! I admit when I saw the title, I was like "Here we go...", but honestly, I think you are spot on! You skipped all the mods that do little to nothing for a stock car and went right for the good stuff. Tune, plugs and intercooler are like step 1 for just about any Ecoboost in my opinion.
Tossed the front mount and got an additional tune from Unleashed.
I didn’t see much of a bump. It doesn’t feel flat anymore when it’s 80-90 though. Which is the reason I bought it.
Did a colder plug as well.
I love your videos, I messed up when I bought my car. I have a 2017 2.0 ecoboost and I thought it would be like a fancier focus at and it shares the same motor but the tuning is so mild it doesn’t feel fun. I am waiting for the right deal to trade in my fusion for a fusion sport
Keep up the great videos I love to see people find ways to modify the under dogs
Thanks, but look at what Livernoise Motorsport offers, I think they have a 400hp pkg for the 2.0 EB.
Even the standard 3L v6 boogies pretty good, much cheaper than the sport
Very sharp, i just bought a dark grey 2018 fusion. i love it so far.
I do like the fusion sport with the 2.7 twin turbo, nice car!
Where did you get the rims from? I’ve been looking for a set for my 2013 Titanium 2.0 EcoBoost AWD!
Got them at tire rack . Com in 2018
I found the 6f35 transmission to be complete garbage. Any issues with yours? My fluid is burnt and Apparently due to clogged oil coolers. When I changed the fluid too
6F55 on the Sport, same of the SHO and many GMs SUVs
If I get a fusion sport. I don't want an exhaust. I don't like the lawnmower sound in cars. I'm a V8 guy. I currently have a 15 fusion Ecoboost. Fully loaded. If I upgrade to a sport would it be worth just Cai and tune?
Of course, do the Tune after you swap all your fluids to full synthetic (engine, ATF and PTU). CAI intake is a bit overkill, but your engine will never lack any air. To save money, you can always purchase a aFe panel filter, but, maybe a slightly use CAI can also be could and support future mods. ruclips.net/video/uvLSajAMLnA/видео.html
@@twinforce_fusion6560 I would just do a tune. I don't think I would spend the money in pulling the turbo's out and replacing them with mkz. No exhaust or nothing. Just tune.
How are the FMIC on the fusion, had to upgrade mine after getting a tune, as the charge temps were pushing 190 degrees.
they should bring you air charges down by 60 to 70 degrees. Look in older videos, I have a dyno before and after (stock vs Garrett). big difference.
My best 2 Mods was the tune snd the Modified MKZ Turbos
Where did you get them?
@@mitchellventrone400 Revolution Turbo in Florida speak to Hung Chou
Best mod = signing the title where it says “selller”
Just get a mkz 3.0 twin turbo awd 400hp out the box, and doesn’t cost that much more then a fusion sport, I tuned my continental and my mkz, sleepers
What were the gains from the FMIC + Tune Vs just the Tune. Went through most of your videos but couldn't get a solid answer.
ruclips.net/video/RUgCzDnLBjs/видео.html. dyno pull was also on video a few days before, and oem vs tune also. Hope this helps
So what is max hp you can squeeze out for 2.7 engine with all available mods out there?
Max power a stock bottom end can take is about 540ish HP.
Hey TwinForce, I wanted to ask you something as I believe you can give me good advice. I have a 2017 Fusion Sport and I live in Toronto, I daily drive my car and use it during all seasons - I really want to get a tune but I don't know how it'll affect the reliability over time. What do you think i should do with regards to a tune.
Men, I installed my tune and the car only had 1,200KM. Driving since then, sorry, let me rephrase that, I've been drag racing it since then. My advice, since you got the car, first thing, engine flush and swap to full synthetic oil, 2nd, drain transmission (twice), PTU and RDU....then purchase a tune
@@williaml3678 PTU is your power transfer unit, its like a transfert case on trucks. And your RDU is your rear differential unit. Basically, your rear end. The PTU uses 75w140, the RDU 80w90.
On lkq I found some turbos from a 2.0l mkz. Sorry for the dumb question but are these turbos the same size as the 3.0tt mkz? If so I will buy 2 of them
No, none are the same, the 4 cylinder turbos are completely different vs. The V6. And the 3.0 is slightly bigger vs. The 2.7, and they are a direct bolt on. ruclips.net/video/tWTDBHgLTis/видео.html
@@twinforce_fusion6560 definitely going to keep checking for some v6 turbos from the mkz to come in stock. Thank you!
I wish they sold them here in Europe, but we only got the 240hp 2.0... I know i could import one, but parts en knowledge are a problem out here. I drive a 2007 3.0 Fusion right now and parts and knowledge are a huge problem... I thing i'm the only one with a Fusion in my county
i have the 87 octane tune from unleashed and i’m looking to get the unleashed 93 octane tune. do you think that would make a big difference?
Yes, definitely. Ecoboost are begging for octane for added safety and added boost. Make sure you mention this to Torrie.
that purple color is so nice. if those wheels are 18’s tho i think the car really needs 19’s.
No. 18s are all go. 19s are only for show.

@@josebabilonia2418 why? The tire diameter changes very little.
Oof that mention of quarantine being lifted hurt since I'm in the US. Like ugh why are so many in the US just nuts? If we took COVID seriously we could all be out having fun again!
just stop. it's all politics, not being failing to take it serious
Is it a 2.7 liter or 3.0? What year and 0-60 time?
Still the OEM 2.7. I think only the Fastest Fusion Sport did the full 3.0 Lincoln Swap. my best 0-60 on the street was 3.8 sec. Best 60 foot at the track was 1.701 with the Bridgstone RE-71R's, with the Neova's 1.81. With the CRP turbo swaps, did +500 hp and 538 tq on engine, will get about +20 hp once I upgrade the low pressure fuel pump. All info in this channel. thanks
@@twinforce_fusion6560 I want this upgrade
What’s that red rectangle on the front of your inter cooler? Adds a nice look to the car
It's a ram air for the cold air intake, in front of the radiator, intercooler on bottom. Yes, the Big Mouth from Velossa Tech is the car signature.
It's a snorkel. Helps with intake & cooling.
www.velossatechdesign.com/products/2017-2018-ford-fusion-sport-big-mouth-ram-air-intake-system/
Pretty useful for the price.
Awesome thanks!
Dude, they have all kind of rainbow color available, even glow in the dark
Funny because the ecoboost name was originally twin-force by way of the concept car called the Lincoln MKR
Yup, that's exactly where I got my inspiration. I was reading earlier ecoboost project. I wish they kept the twinforce code name, but, everything needs to be eco...ecoboost, ecodiesel, ecotec...
Un gros merci de la Gaspesie, jai la meme en noir. beau travail!
Pas de problem, j aime documenter les choses. J'me demande si C l'Asselin qui etait sur le cour 9643 a Valcartier? 😁
@@twinforce_fusion6560 nope c'est pas le même :)
Do you recommend buying the mkz turbocharger from eBay?
LKQ first, if not, you make have to take a gamble on Ebay. FYI, not selling my spares MKZ turbos.
Any recommendations for the 3.7 MKZ? Any tunes making good power gains?
Sorry bro naturally aspirated engines there is just not much.
What tint percentage is that ?
@TwinForce_Fusion - How difficult is it to install the MKZ Turbos once I obtain them?
To install, it's easy, it's the removal of the OEM cats/down pipes Is hard. The ultimate performance are easy to install.
ruclips.net/video/-IS05NrcjdU/видео.html
Do you have any recommendations for a tune. I have the Ultimate Performance 3 in catless downpipes and I went to unleashed and they denied me because of the removed cats. Any tips?
Tuned by James, but do not tell him you remove the cats, because of the current US administration , the tuners will refuse to protect themselves from the EPA, tell James you have the catted pipes with the 200 CPSI cats so he can remove the CEL.
OEM, they are over 700 cell per square inch cats
@@twinforce_fusion6560 would that effect my cars performance or do you think it would work out? Also thank you so much for being so responsive and ready to help. Not a lot of mod information about these cars. You’ve been a big help.
@@jonbenjamin9485 the 2 mounts, you will feel it on the steering, especially at a stop light, but gets less vibration after usage. Just the rmm, no difference on the steering, but no wiggle-wiggle during hard launches. Only positive feed back regarding the rear sway bar, the front, not for everyone, makes the steering very heavy, but makes cars solid like someone welded and braced the front chassis
How well does the trans hold up on these when you start modding them
So far all good, but I do drain the ATF twice a year, and the PTU every Spring
I’ve heard so much bad about unleashed is it true or was I just being fed lies? Cuz I had him tune for full bolt on 1.6 fusion but once I got a sho everyone told me to stay away so I went with ortiz tuning
Can't comment on ULT, I've only been using the LMS, but, this is the first time someone said something negative about Torrie's tune, most of ULT are very satisfied and they where using the LMS before. No clue who and what is Ortiz tuni g, but I will check. Sorry about your bad experience, but maybe that was just for the 1.6 and not the 2.7
TwinForce_Fusion his tunes where amazing and quick replying but I heard it’s just the sho to not let him tune but I’m probably gonna end up ditching ortiz and go with unleashed, ortiz took 3 weeks to finish my 93 base tune while with unleashed we took it from stock to full bolt on e30 in 2 weeks with the 1.6 ecoboost fusion it made just as much as a full bolt fiesta st
@@omahasho4658 Ortiz only does the SHO. We have a SHO in our SoCal ecoboost group
Bad Sport Driving I’m on the e30 tune rn it’s quick but taking so long to get back to me
Have you changed your "tune" about unleashed? Haha😂
Caveat to downpipes - they only gain about 5-10 hp with no other mods.. go tune first, then intercooler or turbos, downpipes for a last mod.
DP's I only recommend using with the MKZ turbo. On the stock turbo I gained 6.2whp and 16.8tq. Peak vs peak, but bigger gains down low ruclips.net/video/qiQThHhCWcI/видео.html
I heard the cold air intakes are bad for the fusions because the stock intake is apparently really well made for the fusion. I replaced the air filter for better flow and I’m getting a big mouth but I was wondering if I should just get a cold air intake as well and maybe it’ll perform better with those other mods
Unless you upgrade the turbos, no need to add the Eco Power Pipes and or the Steeda Intake. But they will help with upgrades, the original box can handle 596 cfm, buy will fall short from the 800 cfm of the pipes and dual cones intake
@@twinforce_fusion6560 I was gonna add a second ecoboost turbo but I don’t think the 2013 1.6 can handle 2 turbos
@@twinforce_fusion6560 last question : is the big mouth worth it then ? My goals right now are really just to improve the cars performance and speed. Some street racing too. Nothing crazy
@@Delrondae from my understanding it gives you power in two ways, buy lower the intake temps and, buy creating some type of vortec flow over 100mph.... good for apparently, +6hp.....
How much is price on Vancouver now ? 17-18 years ?

I think I'm going to get the Livernois tune for my mkz pretty soon.
Since you have the 3.0 and the good turbos, contact Matt at UP, his DP's will give your car about 60hp. The same for the FMIC. His car is a MKZ. Dont forget the rmm, its the weak link
@@twinforce_fusion6560 My issue is that I love my adaptive cruise control and I dont want to mess with the functionality of it. Also its not a track car but i dont want to lose the comfort of it either. Was thinking about full exhaust though.
