    Last year I traveled around the UK and my favorite was Inverness, Scotland. I also loved Belfast which I was pleased to see on the list.

    After living in 6 cities in the UK because of work reasons my favourite is Bristol. Torquay is lovely but you need to be able to deal with the hordes of selfish and entitled tourists for 6 months of the year. Horrible

      Thanks for your insight! I've always been curious about what it's like to live in different UK cities. Bristol sounds wonderful. I can see how dealing with tourists in Torquay could be frustrating. It's great to hear your perspective on both places!

      @@geoinsider as far as cities go, Bristol is definitely my favourite. It's big enough to offer city life and all the convenience that goes with that - education, culture, university, theatre, etc but small enough not to have big city problems. Great climate and beautiful areas within a quick drive into the country.

    Hi from Hastings! It is indeed a fantastic place. Shame you didn't include any street-level views.

    @colinlambert882 3 месяца назад +1

    “Famous for the historic battle of Hastings”? Nope. Try Battle instead and ask yourself why William the conqueror built an Abbey there? Hastings has struggled for decades with deprivation and some recent regeneration gives hope for the future. It must be one of the cheapest places to live in the south east.

    Torquay? You must be joking. Its not a city anyway, so please check your facts. Plymouth should be up there - but transport links are poor, other than that - good.
