Why studying anatomy can be a WASTE OF TIME!

It sounds very controversial, but really all I am saying is, be very critical about why you are doing studies and your goals. Blindly studying may not shape you into the artist you want to become (although you will likely be objectively more technically proficient).

I believe that anatomy is just another form of art style. Another way for artists to show their characters' personalities and roles without directly telling you that.

yeah proportional exaggerations can play a huge part in character design. overwatch is a great example of crazy proportions telling a lot about the characters
