10:02 finding or building a scope for AP is easy, the biggest problem is the lack of affordable mounts, forget portability and just give me a affordable cast iron slab of a mount already.
4:07 don't forget that laser collimators can also need collimating. Spin one around and see if the dot drifts before relying on it to collimate your Newt.
I purchased the AD8 for visual, and as a beginner I will say it is really easy and comfortable to use, i only need to use a lawn chair and can view though the eyepiece from any angle while sitting, and can carry it in and out with no problems. 😁
5:01 I have the virtuoso gti version which is a little heavier but a little better for beginners in my opinion if they don’t want to learn the night sky, of course this is in my opinion
It's 2024 and I still don't have a telescope, but been looking for it a long time easily 2 years and what a coincidence just today I hoped someome to make a video about the best telescopes of 2024 and you made it thank you so much! I've been looking for Celestron telescopes is it a good brand? After this video I'll know it. Winter is the best time to watch the nightsky full of stars and asteonomical events like Gemini meteor power! 🌨❄️🏠😮🔭🌠
Great assessment, but don't agree with he best value Telescope. I own the seestar s50, and the dwarf 3, and the dwarf wins for me as the EQ mode is a game changer.

Surprised the SQA55 didn't make the list!
You did a good job trimming that moustache. Bravo!
Nah, I liked the other mustache much better. It looked very distinguished
What about shywatchers goto 10” dob? Where would you rank this?

The origin is overpriced.
You guys should open a store in India
Nice video. What do think is the best large refractor telescope above 100mm
The carbonstar 150 is a great scope, it's my favorite imaging reflector.
Nice vid .. tho MSRP Prices would have been SUPER helpful. Ugh.

Agreed!
The Dwarf 3 is a better choice thanks to the EQ mode
Would be cool if one could order from the EU.
Knowing that their stuff is probably not built in the US, I agree. Kolari Vision is doing it.
I have the Carbonstar 150, good scope but the focuser needs replaced to be trustworthy, it will slip. So close to perfect.
or by a TS RAP2DEL and adapter to replace it
Where can I get my remote fixed
Why don’t you tell them it’s not going to look like the pictures in a book.
Wish my life did not suck so much. I would love to own a telescope but I'm just so broke
Nothing really new since the 90’s
Stay there 😂
The Origin is way overpriced and absolutely limited.
