A tip, if you didn’t know!! Sims will use the most expensive sink on the lot, so if it bothers you a lot, make sure your kitchen sink is the most expensive :3

I used to clean big beach houses here in Florida, and you've caught the spirit of it, let me tell you. The master bedroom has the vibe of 'these people are unhappily married but they have so much space between then that they barely notice it'

i have this in a house i built last week! They have a weird creepy attic but the kid has a bunch of his stuff up there. I put trellis up the side of the house so I imagine his friends climb up to hang out. They have a ghost in the attic too so I imagine he's a repressed victorian teen who's unfinished business is having fun for once in his unlife. I maybe had a bit too much fun with the whole story.

my dad has a million dollar house, and that's also exactly how it is in his. in fact, a step family member ALSO has a million dollar house, and it ALSO has a bathroom very close to everything important. *T_T* I get so nervous going there...

I feel like downloading this build would be an incentive/prize to getting all the packs needed to have it complete.
Like, if you're the kind of person who is willing to give the franchise your money but you don't have a lot of money, or if you're too young to have credit card/rely on getting packs as gifts from other people... You save up, and wait, and when you finally get all the packs, you can finally put this mansion in your Sims world.
All the bathrooms give me anxiety cus I know that all the sims would be using the other people’s bathrooms for no reason

Are you sure it's not just a modern castle? 😂 Some of the elements remind me of how a castle is set up. Especially the master bed: an area where they accept guests and then their bedroom with a private sitting area for special/intimate guests. I live the build! Sounds like it was fun to do too.

It would be a lot cheaper if you didn't have some of them! And TBH, some of those packs are probably only a few items. You'd have to edit it a good bit and probably fill up space more (substitute anything it doesn't automatically replace) but you could still use it. Might be less fun without Bowling, Spa Day, Vintage Glamour, or Get Famous for example. :)

I made a lot with to houses for my supersim, since i had so much money in that household, i casually built a 2 000 000 simolien lot, i just found out like yesterday and i got really suprised when i saw the pricetag.
damn that is so impressive. it's so big and over-the-top and fancy. the library, the little Fancy Romantic Backgarden, the butler suite, the cinema n bowling room, the spa and gym area... also I think the attic looks so nice. with all those boxes and random knick-knacks, like a real attic. great job Kayla!

I started a rags-to-riches when eco lifestyle came out. The 3rd Gen can easily move in here - they have 3.5 million at the moment (plus they have already "given away" 3 million to the nursing home I built, where all the second gen are currently dying off). Their bills are in the 10,000 range, but they make 10 times that on "investments" each week. (My original broke sim did find a money tree seed in the dumpster, and I used it for a while, but my plants "broke" (they would all drop down to a mound after you harvested, and you would have to wait for the right season for them to grow again). I gave up on the money tree entirely after they moved into their second home (to fit all the kids).
When the second gen moved out of home (5 kids), they were each given 50,000 as a start-up (from the parents' money). When the first gen died, I split the money, and each kid received 500,000. At the beginning, when the 3rd gen started moving out (also 5 kids), they were getting 200,000 as their start-up.
After the update you could make this to a really cool resort!
The rent is 10% of the lot price, though... So you’d spend 100,000 a night or something 😂
this is the type of home i'd expect judith ward to live in, its so grand, can't wait to move some rich sims in here its so beautiful
What about a Million Dollar House using ONLY base game? I'd be curious to see how that would turn out, would definitely have to get creative in other ways to spend all that money!

I downloaded the build without furniture, deleted the walls, and filled it myself. I love the home you made, it’s so pretty! I accidentally made Gatsby’s mansion and didn’t realize until the entire area you made into ballroom and formal dining was one ballroom. I like what I made but it’s not too realistic in the end, I’ll definitely be playing with yours!
Just awkwardly realizing I use so many of these items in all my builds because I never pay any attention to how much anything costs, thanks to cheats
