the reason I made this film because a lot of people never visit Tucson because there is so little known. Of course the heat in summer is not good for someone who can not stand but Tucsom has so many wonderful places to visit.Once in your life you would have to visit Tucson to experience the desert the beauty.
Wrong. People retire there. They stay indoors during the heat...but Arizona cities have a long twilight period, clear skies, incredible twilight weather, and many outdoor shops and restaurants. Electric is cheap because the housings use sophisticated water cooler systems...not air conditioning. You missed the research on why so many move there in their later years...very health and clean desert sand and air. Check places like Sun City. Oops. Also...can't stand uneducated critics. Ugh.
@@derrickcox4233 don’t understand me wrong I am a tourist not living in Arizona but Like to inform other tourists about the beautiful surroundings in Arizona. Because I think most people only drive true and not see anything about this beauty. whether you come in the summer or winter does not matter.

How lucky you are, it's a hidden gem and hope that nobody discovers it and then ranks it in the top 20 places to live list. That totally destroyed the Seattle region.
This video is so well designed I cannot say enough good things about it. Bravo, Yvonne. I heard the call years ago inspiring me to be here ...I gave my wife the last five years living in Texas and time is up. We are moving here next October for good.
Tucson and the Sonoran Desert are special places. Those who want a big city lifestyle and/ or oceans + beaches will NOT like it. Each to their own. Those who love nature, an interesting eclectic mix of people, Mexican and Indigenous Peoples cultures, wide open spaces, a small-town feel with many city options, college towns, hiking, biking, golfing, and horse riding, will love it.
It's been 13 years since I left Tucson. The roads, the highway, the canyons, the drive into Tucson from Globe, the smell of it all, the thunderstorms, the food, Pat's Chili Dogs, Speedway on Friday Nights, Playing pool at student union.... most vivid the drive around town... I just want to say Thank you for the video. A lot of feelings came surging back... thank you.
Beautiful video... I live in Europe in France...🗼 I love your country so much. I went to usa in 2013 ... L.A, Grand Canyon, Brice canyon, las Vegas Monument Valley Laughlin.... and New-York 🗽of course ... I ❤ USA
The Old Pueblo 🦂 🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵 the magnificent magic of the Sonoran desert has to be experienced to appreciate fully. A power as old as the world itself. No other place brings together so many diverse landscapes into one microcosm of splendid colors, textures, aromas, sounds. Snow covered or drenched under intense sunlight, or perhaps a raging torrent of a desert monsoon. Just as the silent sentinels, the Saguaro cactus, you can see the beginning of time from the caliche basins. Or climb to the pine covered mountain tops and glimpse into eternity. It’s America’s crown jewel. Tucson Arizona U.S.A. “ like a storm in the the desert “
That is one of the best videos I've seen 4 place to go and visit you know. I was born in Arizona and still here I haven't been to Tucson that much but I have family down there. I love this video not a lot of talking in it which is great I actually felt 100% relaxed after this the music the background animal noises just the driving a car seeing the Lush desert down there beautiful Arizona does have a desert heaven
Thank you so much for posting this. I originally come from Tucson where I spent most of my childhood. My playground was the desert. I so miss the giant saguaro, miss all the desert, even miss the summers with 115 °F . This brought back so many happy memories. There is no place else on earth, like Tucson.
Thanks for this video. I lived in Tucson late 60-early 70's, you are correct, in Tucson there are the most beautiful sunsets in the world. You brought back so many memories.
You are wrong, the most beautiful sunsets are in the states of Hawaii-the most loved State, at sea when on a U.S.Navy ship on a Westpac cruise in the Philippines and the state of Colorado in the Denver-Boulder metro area.
Beautiful video and the tranquil music played along so well with the pictures. Snow in Tucson is very rare. The snow in the pictures is in the many mountains, that ring around Tucson proper. I have to agree with another person that replied. Tucson has some terrible roads, which as far as I'm concerned is a disgrace. Since the area is not in a cold weather Northern climate. The city is unique and has some beautiful areas, but the city has an anti business climate, and that doesn't pay the bills. The sunsets and views from in and around the city, are about as good as it gets. Take a ride up to Mt Lemmon for an unforgettable view of the area, and to experiences extreme temperature changes from the elevation. Thanks for a wonderful video on Tucson
Excellent video. I saw San Xavier. I Saw Oro Valley. I saw Gates Pass. :and more . I rode my Harley Davidson Motorcycle up to Mt. Lemon with my girlfriend and we enjoyed the scenery and the Hummingbirds at the resort. Best Food that I ever had came from Tucson.
1981-1989: lived in Tucson. 1990-Present: well, let's just say I live 107 miles west-northwest of heaven. My job forced me to move to the metropolis and I have wanted to return ever since. People will always have different perspectives on their "experience" in Tucson, but if they have ever lived there long enough to absorb the true culture, they will always have a desire to return...if they leave. In 2018, some friends and I were there and I took them to Skyline Drive and around Campbell. You can look out over the city and see natural green. Tucson thinks before they build and the result is the most beautiful city I have ever lived in, or even seen, in my life. Thank you for this memory invoking video.
Absolutely beautiful! I moved here from Illinois, two years ago, and I’m in love with Tucson! So many places to go and admire, places that you can camp out! The perfect weather! My favorite places to go are, Mt. Lemmon and tanque verde trails, Redington pass, and the falls trailhead!👌🥰👉♥️👍

Getting divorced and wanting a more livable income than Arizona offers blue collar workers cost me the region. It haunts my dreams every night without fail. I wonder constantly if I should have just lived check to check till I died, happily. It is an extremely special place to live.
Thank you for this. It took me bacc home for a minute. I am currently in a treatment facility up in Gilbert,A.Z. and it's good to see images from Tucson. I actually am from a place called Sells, which is located about 60 miles west of Tucson, but this is as close to home as I could get for now. Again, much thanks for this!!! Stay safe everyone!
Moved to Tucson in August of 2011 and immediately fell in love with it. Stunning beauty, GREAT food, so much culture, so many friendly people. I didn’t know in 11 that I’d be moving back to MN after 34 years in AZ and, while I’m glad to be back in MN, I will ALWAYS will Tucson. Six years there wasn’t enough.
Something about this place keeps drawing me back to it. Tucson has its issues, but it's better than so many other places to live. I can't wait to come back there and have a cold one on 16th avenue! No more snow, no tornados or hurricanes, just nice and then hot for a little while. Go Wildcats!
Haha was there way back in 79 , brings back memories going up mt lemon & Sabina canyon & finger rock ( William branhams trail) was transfixed by the beauty of its desert , me & a mate went from England at 21/23 yrs old, was gobsmacked by the clearness of the air & shiny clean city, compared with the stark grey treeless streets of pit towns in the three shades of grey summer skies of the NEst of England., Truly Tucson & area is "prophets & mystics country"...thanx.

Arizona is rich with natural beauty and colorful history. From endless desert landscapes to tall pine 4 season mountain vista's in Arizona's White Mountains (snow skiing). Arizona has it all!
I've been to Tucson before and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty. I hope it never changes. I hope it's never commercialized much beyond it's current state. Take care of it, people are not responsible to the environment like they should be.
It captures the highlights and the best parts of Tucson... the snow... lol... once every 10 years, lmao... or a light dusting every few years in an isolated spot... but when you go out driving E or W on Speedway, Ajo way, up to Mt. Lemon or River Rd....yes it is like that. Lived there for 17 years. My fave... awesome monsoon season and the lightening... but stay indoors! Ha! Looks like the road out to the caves... fun ride there... boring back. :D Who here or happens to stop by was there and watched when the Catalina mountains burned?
WhiteTigerForever25 I'd forgotten all about that I used to live on e speedway and we had a pretty good view (not too close) when the fire happened I miss Tucson

I lived in Tucson 1983-1987 stationed at DM AIR FORCE BASE. At first I hated it but after a few months I realized how beautiful the desert and the people were. I spent 4 years there and basically never forgot Tucson. After so many decades of working in California, I plan to go back to Tucson in the near future. I had good and bad times ( military, low pay, etc) but I plan to go back in the near future. I love the desert and I love Tucson!
Lived there for almost 5 years, the best place ever. I realized that after returning to The Netherlands, mind you nothing wrong over here, but so flat and cold....

Thanks for the lovely video. I love dry places like Arizona away from the rain in the UK. What's the winter like in Tucson? I fancy visiting there at that time.
Nice video. I miss my home town. Your videography of the winding roads captured the experience. As a 6 year old, I would always be car sick by the time we reached the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum! I soon recovered though once we walked into the beautiful desert surroundings. Thanks for sharing your video!
I've visited tucson many times and it fills me with joy each time.as for the comments mentioning crime, you will get that anywhere you go unfortunately. if you have never been to tucson GO!
okay, we live in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and we suffer also from the economic situation but still many tourists visit the beautiful city......if I had even a little bit can ensure that tourists Tucson to visit and appreciate than I already achieved. We love tucson and visit it every year because we not only love the desert but also love the beautiful city.....
You are welcome too use it! I don't live in Tucson but we going every year back for 6 months. We love Tucson! I did make this video to promote Tucson for the toerist from Europe and I think I did a good job! Thanks you too!
Thank you for permission! You definitely did an amazing job at this video :-) Please contact me anytime you are in the area :-) Please like my FB business real estate page as well. I would be grateful and very much appreciative facebook.com/SarahKLawrence724/
Arizona is a great State. I moved from Orange County, N. Y. to Phoenix in 1980 and from there to Tucson in '83. A great city. I built 4 apartment projects and enjoyed the help I received from the Pima County Inspection Department and Tucson Power. I'm retired now and live in Warsaw, Poland but miss the great times in Tucson..John Babcock.
I've currently been staying in San Carlos Az this is my first time beeing in the south west and I've been to Tucson and I think it's pretty cool.I'm originally from pa so this might be my new state of residency
My dad was stationed at DM when I was a kid-frankly I liked it there a lot. If you liked exploring (and I was a Boy Scout) then that was a very interesting place. Have been there recently and yes things have changed but that country is just beautiful at the right times of the year.

Arizona is a great State. I moved from Orange County, N. Y. to Phoenix in 1980 and from there to Tucson in '83. A great city. I built 4 apartment projects and enjoyed the help I received from the Pima County Inspection Department and Tucson Power. I'm retired now and live in Warsaw, Poland but miss the great times in Tucson..John Babcock.
ohh your history is amazing I,m going to cry

Welcome to Tucson. ROAD WORK EVERYWERE.
Raider Man and it still sucks
Raider Man it never stops.
Raider Man and the roads are still bad.
It's the same all over the country. I'm from Wisconsin and it's no different there than in Arizona.
My dad was stationed at DM when I was a kid-frankly I liked it there a lot. If you liked exploring (and I was a Boy Scout) then that was a very interesting place. Have been there recently and yes things have changed but that country is just beautiful at the right times of the year.
Very lovely. I have a friend that lives in Tucson and I may go down there in the future
Nice, scenic city with a very low cost of living. This allows you to live great on little. I lived there for a few years.
2021 Mates! These are grade A! The diversity of food culture is the best thing on earth. Eating and drinking is part of life. Awesome dish from the video~ Did you use the ending video promo from utube at the end
