@@jeraldford3494 ... 👊 Because of you, I'm listening to this song again right now. I haven't heard this in a couple of months. This song is a classic. Miss the good old days.
Cool right? I bought the 45 when I was a teen in 1979. Still sounds fantastic too...I love music from every decade and now but this year was a great music year for me 👍💯
I keep coming back to this video every once in a while. Can’t believe it’s been like a year and 5 months since you have posted it. Great album as a whole, too. And to think they were on Soul Train too was pretty gosh darn badass!
You should try the "12" version it is even better. I was after it for 15 years before I finally got it in 94 in yellow vinyl and a transparent cover which mimicked the Space Invaders game.
there is a lot of confusion on this if you look at the video that is an original 7 inch single 3:52 Computer Game that's the name of this song the other song is 1 1/2 minutes long
The problem with YMO was they came off as cold and steely as the music itself. Later on Riuichi Sakamoto put out some great stuff with heart and soul, The Left Banke, Risky with Iggy Pop etc, but in the US anyway in the late 70s they were just too far away and too inaccessible to love, though everyone I knew in the NYC area certainly had this album. You could pick it up for a dollar at Sounds on E.4th Street if you didn't mind their pink label stuck to the cover.
R.I.P. Yukihiro Takahashi (1953 - 2023)

The rhythm sounds like the bike race theme from Bully.

Wow I LOVE this. If music stores ever reopen I’ll look for this. But when I clicked it I thought it would be a cover of “Computer Games” by Mi-Sex.
@ 1:47 and a little after...reminds me of Herbie Hancock's "Rockit" 👍🎶🥰
Homage to Herbie
