you guys are the first people i’ve seen that do not like bongseok. he’s literally just a good person and a good friend, idk it might be a little cringy to you guys but it’s kinda refreshing to see a main character that doesn’t have a complicated moral complex
I don’t like him either I get why he is that way but he has little self control and it can get annoying to watch at times. He basically acts like a little child and the maturity level difference between Bong Seok and the girl seems to be quite significant
@@byejuyoidk he’s giving her good advice all the time and has a strong sense of responsibility towards others + follows rules because he knows that they are there for a reason that seems pretty mature to me. He might be awkward and without self control cause he’s had no friends and has an overprotective mom
@@fanny45641 Hmm I definitely agree, his personality reminds me of a shonen mc, he has a strong sense of responsibility as you said, and (well I'm not sure I agree with what you said about following rules but I get what you mean), however his thinking process in different situations and mannerisms are very child-like. What I mean is that he tends to just do things without thinking (like a child). For example, the scenes where he stares at Hui-soo for long periods of time. That is literally something a child would do lol. I understand that she is pretty but that is not a justification for staring at her like a weirdo

@@byejuyowe have to take into consideration that beongseok hasn't had proper friends, which says a lot about his social abilities and his mental age. Surprisingly, he is mature enough to give advice to huisoo because of his mother.
bongseok is just a good guy but naive at times, huisoo is more socially... aware. she can read the room/situation better
Korean schools as well as Japanese ones, try and teach the students to keep their school clean. Because if it’s them who has to clean them then they wouldn’t want it to get too dirty. Like I know most kids in places where they don’t do that don’t care how dirty they make toilets or the halls etc because “someone is getting paid to clean them anyways” etc. so that’s the purpose of it.
@@preexthisIf it was hard when I cleaned the public toilet myself, I would find it hard when someone else was cleaning it too. And you can take responsibility for the space you use.
We call it empathy, and it's also the ability Bongseok's mom taught Bongseok. It is a small lesson that adults teach children. So public places in Korea or Japan may be a little cleaner than the other countries.
in korea schools end at 4pm - 5pm. then they go to hagwon/cram school. if they cant afford it they do night study at school. they usually go home around 10pm. she is trying to go to college as physical education major. if she does well on practical exams she can get in with scholarship. so she is training to pass the practical exam.
If you aren't paying attention and are just going to be sarcastic and laugh while watching the video, don't react to K-Dramas. They call the main character a monkey and make sexual jokes... it's the worst.

also yes! huisoo's dad's chicken place name and slogan is supposed to be stupidly funny. thats why huisoo at first suggested they just buy a franchise
when youre calling someones name who is the same age or younger than you in korean you add 'Ah' at then end of theyre name so she wasnt making fun off his name yall 😭 she was just calling him in a friendly way
Exactly! She was actually calling him in an endearing way. When watching something from another county we should all be open minded about cultural differences. People from different countries will act and believe in things differently from our own country. Bong Seok has an endearing characteristic that's different from western characters and it's what makes him such a great main character to watch.
@@hat4243 true but moving esp has really shit subtitles compared to other kdramas. plus, it's hard to infer if you're not used to watching many kdramas and are unaware of such cultural norms.

If you looking for characters like weak hero class ..You need to stop watching because these characters are unique to this story. I hope you will keep an open mind to this characters.

So you guys have no idea at all, Bongseok is literally the BEST MC in kdrama land. Yall are just not focusing in the story that's why yall don't get him. Yall be wondering "why is he like that?" Cuz that's HOW HIS MOTHER RAISED HIM, duh? You guys called his power useless, but yall failed to notice that it's because he's NOT TRAINED AT ALL. Admit it, you guys are just into TYPICAL, COOL/HOT, HANDSOME, PERFECT mc with cold expression and toxic personality who knows how to fight. The beginning can be boring even though there is not a flashy CG like Marvel..Think of Part 1 to 7 as a prologue to show the pain and tough generational succession of undercooked high school students and their super-powerful parents living in modern times.. From the 8th episode, the hidden past of the parents' generation and the colorful action will be worth watching..Look forward to the encounter of super heroes that seem to exist in Korea's own reality..
마블처럼 화려한 CG가 없어도 초반은 지루할 수 있다..1~7부는 현대를 살아가는 설익은 고등학생과 그들의 초강력한 부모의 고통과 험난한 세대 승계를 보여주는 프롤로그라고 생각해보자.. 8회부터는 부모 세대의 숨겨진 과거와 화려한 액션이 시청할 만하다..한국만의 현실에 존재하는 듯한 슈퍼 히어로들의 만남을 기대해본다..

Why would you watch a reaction video if you only care about the content of the show, I’m not trying to argue but I find it funny and entertaining and it’s really just preference, and there is also other reaction channels that exist. A lot of the things they said were valid anyway, like it was quite suggesrive when we saw Bong Seok floating only because he was staring at a good looking girl
