In fact I subscribed for the complete series (means I get them numbered) even if a lot of folks say they don't get it, because Pablo records are pretty easy available for a decent price. As usual I don't care what other people are saying. Guess with what I already have from Pablo there should be only 1 or 2 I already own. I think it's a great series!
Mike,I started collecting these a few years ago and many of my friends didn’t believe me about the sound quality ! Now they grabbing what ever they can find 😊 . There are over 600 releases out there and at last count I’m at only 63. These records can be had for as little as $5 -$10 but the real caveat is the performances on many of these are outstanding!
Gee, fascinating, Mike! 😮 I have not been aware of Pablo Records do date, but your video has really peaked my interest!! I love to chase sound "quality" on vinyl! Very impactful black n' white covers! 👌💯👍
Find a couple used in great shape (not hard to do) at your local. record store. or even ebay or discogs and take a listen. You will hooked. I know I was. Thank you.
Thanks Mike I picked up 19 records last week for $150 Now they are gently used but I got Brothers in arms Nightfly and Avalon to name a few jazz I got Butterfly Dreams so I am wondering are you shelling out retail for all these albums? I love what Chad is doing but on my income cannot afford it at least yet thank you grest review I love Norman Granz work I have an z Oscar Petersen Milt z Jackson
Yes I am paying retail. I am being cautious of the albums I am purchasing and buying only ones I like a lot and if I have an OG I really have to like it to buy it again! I don't have any of the lables or distributers giving me any discounts. Wish I did but I don't. Thank you.
Can you please do comparisons with the originals you have and the AP re-issues when they come along in the future? The few originals I have are not that noisy anyway, so I am more interested in how the new ones stack up in terms of sound quality, punch and density etc. Great video, thank you.
Good video on the Pablo series My question is I’ve heard that the records sound wonderful and you’ve stated how well recorded they are so why spend money on these reissues unless you don’t have them???
Pablo is one of my favourite Jazz labels, great video greetings from Australia
They are so very well done! Thank you Paul.

I am exited for it as well. The fact that the sound is very good and most of the Pablo I have, the music is fantastic! Thank you.
Thanks for taking the time to do this
Thank you.
Great review Mike! Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thank you.

@MikesVinylExperience Thanks Mike! Will certainly do that! 👍🤗
Art Tatum - there are massive box sets for solo and group. I have the latter, it is great.
The one that I have is wonderful and sounds excellent. Thanks
