Hey Skratch Bastid, thanks for that awesome tip about the long tone... Its gold. I just took a scratch sample that I had with a beep, opened it in Audacity,, use Effect -> Paulstretch, set it to 10000 factor and time resolution 0.1. BAM! I had a nice 40+ min long tone track!
2:22 How did you get this practice sample !??!??!? I must know so I can practice this and the crab scratch !!!! (btw it kinda sounds like you are doing morse cord haha)
Sorry, i was born and raised in the south and north Bronx. I first heard this in Haffen Park where two masters of it were battling to gain supremacy and lineage credit. The combatants.... DJ Whiz Kid, may he rest in peace, and DJ Galaxy.
Do you think there's anything wrong with being certain hand dominant? I want to incorporate scratching a little bit (not be a turntablist but at least be able scratch in the next track) but i feel like manipulating the crossfader would be easier one hand versus the other. Kind of like throwing with your weak hand...is that the case or is it all about practice to get comfortable scratching and manipulating the crossfader with both hands?
Liked and subbed just for that candid moment of him just being tickled by his own skills haha
Lol RIGHT!
@Ryan Anthony ™ Right!! At 1:32 Was thinking the same. I was about to stop the video just to show my buddy that part.
DJ jazzy Jeff put transformer scratching on the map mainstream

@@redline201 just flick the mixer to phono and you'll hear the tone...

U sir get a down vote for not mentioning jazzy Jeff the inventor of the scratch shame on you
What album are u using for the scratching?
Doesn't scratching the record damage the record?
Whats the beat and the sample used?
that beat sounds like sbtrkt wildfire.... i don't know the source
Its so easy
Please tell me where you got that shirt...
Name of the song , rigth platos ??
Transformer, scratch, invented by jazzy Jeff
Are you left handed?
Where do i find the noise map in serato ?
all you have to do is play a time code vinyl through phono instead of line. it's what a serato record actually sounds like.
Will brought me here
Cash Money was the FIRST
"those are dope. hahahahahhaha you can leave that out." Doesn't leave it out.
He says you can leave it in there if you want
🤝🤔🥰🎤✊
Hi this is Optimus Prime, please do not use my transform sound any longer. It is trademark. Use the peice of shit decepticon noise instead.
So exactly what is a good point at the record to transform scratch. That's the part I don't fully understand.
