I see you use the reverse fader. Thats how I learned. Definitely harder to transform and do some tricks. But i learned alot of my techniques just getting on the wheels and putting in work.
@@uzialadogan5240 it's called hamster style crossfader, and it's just a matter of preference. Some people prefers hamster as they are comfortable that way, and some other include me prefers the traditional.
Many thanks for your tutorials for the DJ community. But there is a big problem for all DJs when they apply for a club for the first time: How to create THE ULTIMATE letter of application for Clubs? How must it be, the ultimate application mix? What should it look like, the ultimate RUclips application video? PLEASE CREATE THIS Tutorial Video for all DJ outside there!
Where did you get that smooth hip hop beat homie, im diggin it, I think I got a lot of those skratches down for understanding them, & now am able to practice till my hands fall asleep, but im still a little foggy about how to do the"BoomFlare", thanx my ninja......... 👍👊💪🙏😎
Here for writing a character. Anyone have suggestions? Common beginner mistakes or mistakes you make still? Favorite scratch’s you do? Hardest to learn? Other things I should know so I’m more accurate?
Common beginner mistakes - skipping the fundamentals and going too fast. Mistakes I still make - being impatient. Fav scratches - chirps. Hardest - all of them to start with then they get easier. Start slow, learn the basics, get the best tuition you can. Check out my School and complete program here: schoolofscratch.com
@Studio Scratches, just a quick question is there any advantages of using the crossfader in reverse? I use it the other way and I'm wondering if I'm doing it wrong, especially the crab scratch? Thx in advance

Yes its the crossfader. but there is no fade - i have it set to turn the sound on immediately on opening, Also my fader is reversed so it works like an upfader.

I was watching your video and trying to copy what you were doing as the video played but it just didn't sound the same. iv always been really good at scratching since the 90s Hardcore scene, then stupid me just noticed that you were scratching with the deck in reverse. you should show people how to do it the right way round then they can choice to do it back to front if it suits them.
Oh yes I did put a note in the video description but usually that gets missed. In my tutorials I break things down very slowly in terms of open and closed fader so both styles can follow along. I cannot scratch regular as I have always scratched this way in reverse like an upfader. Appreciate you watching!
@@studioscratches I appreciate your reply, I suppose when you think about it there isn't a right way or wrong way as long as it sounds good . whatever anyone says they can't take away the fact that your shit hot at scratching and very good at teaching how to do it. Enjoy your videos keep it up.
DOOSH MASTA yeah, I should have read through the comments because I’ve said the same thing. It’s not the best way to introduce scratching to a beginner. If it was explained at the start of the video then fair enough, but not everyone will start out with a mixer that might have a reverse switch, or buttons to assign the fader channels. It’s ok for those of us who have been Dj-ing/scratching for years...we know what’s going on. This also wouldn’t help when beginners also want to learn beat juggling too.
I may be wrong but aren't the scratches recorded. If not what are the tracks/beats you are scratching on? Can you do a video on selection of beats for starting to scratch? Possibly share a link of the tracks you scratched on Thanks alot

How much force should I use for a crab scratch cause when I do it you can hear it but it definitely needs improvement,
you wanna be as relaxed as possible
